Re: Opinions of 9mm YHM Cobra?

Octane 9 HD appears to be ideal. There is not prices on the SWR Website for the Octane-9 yet. Anyone have an idea of what an HD unit with the stuff for a 1/2x28 to 3 lug for a pistol and a 1/2" to 3 lug for a subgun is going to be?

Thanks!

Opinions of 9mm YHM Cobra?

Guys, Am looking for a 9mm can. Must work with factory threaded P229. Would like to be able to take it apart to clean it. Would love for it to be useable on a 9mm subgun until I can afford one to dedicate to that purpose. My local SOT is pretty much a YHM focus dealer. What is the reputation of thei...

Re: 9mm subgun suppressors - what's good these days?

OK Guys. I am a newbie at this end of the game. Later this year I'll be looking for a 9mm can primarily for a SIG 229 with a factory 1/2x28 threaded bbl ... but would like for it to be useable on a 9mm subgun. Doesn't have to be perfect for that because it will eventually be augmented with a can spe...

9mm and 5.56 cans

Working on a .30 cal can for a 300 blk. Will use it on 6.8 as well. Can for 22 LR is in the works aqs well. Beginning to think about the next cans for later in the year or next year. Have a retired person's pocket book, so price is an issue. Interested in a 9mm can that can work with both a Sig 229 ...

Re: Threaded barrel for old high standard Military Citation

Very nice job indeed! I like the shorter bbl. What was the effect on accuracy?

Who is the fella in NH and what did he charge for the work?

Re: Threaded barrel for old high standard Military Citation

Going to leave it at 5.5" or have it cut back some? 5.5" going to be a long package.

Have you ever heard a High Standard suppressed? Breech is very open. Wondering what additional noise that will cause.

Re: Threaded barrel for old high standard Military Citation

Brownell's has both High Standard barrels and barrels made from Douglas blanks. May have to take that route as well.

Randy, what barrel length are you going to shoot for after threading?

Threaded barrel for old high standard Military Citation

Guys,

I have an old High Standard 22 auto that is simply lovely. Never warmed up to the Colts or Rugers frankly.

Threaded barrels for the High Standard used to be widely available. Anyone know of a current source for reasonably priced threaded barrels?

Thanks!

Re: 22 LR ammo for pistol

Chondro,

When did you buy your Mosquito? Seem to be a number of poor reviews early on followed by some corrective action at SIG and much, much better reviews.

Re: ATF/NFA Trust Trouble

OK ... am new to the Trust thing. Did one through GunTrustLawyer recently. Have not applied for a Form 4 transfer yet, but expect to do so shortly. For the first use of the Trust, do you include an empty Assignment Sheet in the Trust document, and then add the item to the assignment sheet when the t...

22 LR ammo for pistol

Guys, Am probably going to start the paperwork on a SIG Mosquito with a Bowers Paradigm can soon. (Dealer has limited choices available.) Have a number of other SIG pistols for the Mosquito is a natural. Any suggestions for reasonably accurate subsonic ammo for such a combination? Currently have a b...

Re: Best Bolt Gun to Suppress for .308

Niftiest setup I've seen is a .338 Norma Mag fitted with a Jet suppressor. Targets at ranges over a kilometer were simply amazing! That is a ballistician that can shoot too!

Re: First can purchases

Any of the 9mm cans of reasonable size allow use on 9mm subguns as well as 1/2x28 threaded handguns?

Thanks,

First can purchases

Guys, Have been a shooter for more than 40 years. Did some things right (like buying an M16 and an M60 at almost the right time ... 1986), and some things wrong. Got interested in suppressors and reviewed the current CLEO situation and found I had to go the trust route here now. Decided that I wante...
