WTS: Suppressed Ruger MKII .22LR Pistol OD GREEN $1250 PICS

For Sale is extremly nice integral suppressed Ruger MKII Pistol. All the designing, machine work, and painting was on this setup was done by us. The suppressor uses a really nice K baffel design and are made out of 6061 aluminum. The barrel has been shorten and ported to bring down standard superson...

I also have ordered quite a bit from McMaster-Carr. They stock Inconel 625, but not 718. I would suggest that you include some other alloys as well. Waspaloy, Haynes 25, and Inconel X-750 are all very close in regards to high temperature strength, and oxidation resistance. I don't see Inconel on th...

Thanks Robert for the info. If all else fails we just might use the Stainless Steel for the suppressor tube, because at least it will take a finish, and it should actully be good enough. I know the suppressor we want to build is small, but if all else fails we'll do another one larger. Thanks Handym...

M60 Suppressor, Inconel, Titanium, and More Questions

Ok we're looking to produce a suppressor for a M60 (.308 caliber). Since I love doing long burst with belt-fed guns the suppressor needs to be built out of high quality material (I want to do better than stainless steel). I would love to machine a suppressor completely out of Inconel and or Titanium...

Where to Buy Inconel & Titanium on Internet?

Where can one buy Inconel 625 or Inconel 718, both in solid round stock and seamless tubing on the Internet? Also looking for Titanium in both solid round stock and seamless tubing? One place I've found is www.Onlinemetals.com for the solid round stock titanium, but also looking for more options. Th...

Wow that doesn't look or sounds very good at all.

Anyone else try this and have good results and good load data, or is subsonic tracers a bad idea?

Thanks

I have loaded subsonic .308 tracer. Yes they light but the major problem is they are totally unstable in a 1:10 twist. I never tried it in a 1:8 twist so who knows if they'd fly straight. the problem is that tracer bullets are very long and much lighter than conventional bullets. Thus they are much...

Subsonic .223 & .308 Tracer Loads

Anyone ever try to reload .223 and .308 with military tracer projectiles, and did the tracers actually light?

Any good/safe reload data that could be used to load .223 and .308 subsonic rounds?

Thanks

Inconel 718 what kind of fishish can it take?

What are the different types of finished that Inconel 718 will take (paint is a no brainer)? Can it take a black oxide type finish of some sort, and if so is it done in a different setup than you would use to get a black oxide finish on stainless steel? Also any good places to buy inconel (round sto...

Titanium Heat Distribution (ie. heatsink)

Just wondering does Titanium (Grade 5) work well as a heatsink?

Does it work better than 6061 Aluminum or worse?

Any numbers would be helpful.

Thanks
