Re: Spectre to Spectre II upgrade?

It's not a noticeable sound difference but I think it was worth it, I wasn't able to do a side by side comparison. The new baffles are easier to clean and keep the tube cleaner too. The o-ring engagement helps keep your threads cleaner.

Re: Quote of the Day: Trigger Option Edition

Not surprisingly, there is evidence that because of the gun ban in Australia people just used alternative methods.

No one is talking about confiscation. Yeah right

I keep hearing that Gun Control advocates respect our 2nd Amendment Rights and no one is talking about confiscation. Even Obama said something to this effect. It appears to me they are. The ny democrat's proposals that didn't make this round. From NY state Representative Steve McLaughlin. http://www...

Unfortunately accidents will happen when people are forced to unload when entering gun shows. Maybe promoters should invest in clearing barrels.

Re: Mexico Jumps into the U.S. Gun Control Debate

I would agree to a gun export ban to Mexico. This would include police and military exports too. In exchange I expect Mexico to ban exports of illegal drugs and aliens. We could even trade all the illegal aliens for all the guns. Mexico would also be required to actively maintain the boarder.

ny has banned >10rd mags since 94, so new yorkers will have to sell all their pre 94 ban mags. Any new mags will have to 7 or less though which essentially bans most standard semi autos. I believe my last statement was incorrect. It looks like you can buy 10 round mags but can only load 7 rounds. 2...

He's an expert on inciting racism. He feeds on it and has no desire to see it end.

Re: New York lost

New AWB and Magazine Ban/Limit. I believe it still has to pass the house but appears to be a done deal. My understanding is: Registration for preban AW, ban new AW Ammunition Sale Background Checks, no online direct sales Private Sales must go through FFL Ban magazines over 7 rounds. Only grandfathe...

Re: Why I gave up my guns

Baton Rouge had a man raping MEN in front of their wives and kids..... i bet any one of them wanted a gun instead of having their ass literally raped in front of family. The "reasonable" thing to do is to submit and when it's over make the guy some dinner. If he doesn't kill you and your family you...

Re: Why I gave up my guns

This article is a total sham. This guy is/was not an enthusiast, he can't even load a shotgun.

He owned a "Bushmaster"? And the sound of racking a shotgun scared away a robber?

Another comparison to gun deaths in Japan. How about the suicide rate in Japan vs the US?

A couple of solutions come to mind. New York reload and a "round" that can fire more than one projectile at different times.

Maybe the government could provide all citizens with a emergency notification device. You would just push a button when you need the police to protect you. It could also double as a citizen tracking/listening device.

Re: Faith leaders speak out on gun control

The bishops spoke specifically to legislators, asking them to support measures that control the sale and use of firearms, make guns safer, sensibly regulate handguns and protect society from violence associated with easy access to assault weapons. Very idealistic but totally ineffective. If only gu...
