Re: Suppressed AMD-65 Build

Why would you use The amd muzzle device except to get the barrel to 16". It's loud as hell and does very little for flash if it doesn't make it worse. Red jacket silencer are crap. Look at some numbers. Will said on their show that they got a .50 nmh to 125Db. That's impossible. If you going to make...

Re: Suppressed AMD-65 Build

What's wrong with a 16" barrel. When I hear barrel shroud I think "the shoulder Thingy that goes up" IMO they look bad like mall ninja. I think when it's a .22 ad gives the barrel a bull barrel look then it's ok. I would make it with a 16" barrel or maybe a 14-15" with a muzzle device attached perme...

Re: Fuel filter suppressor

I think since he's got the correct SOT he doesn't have to destroy any silencer part. Different rules for those that are in the business VS us lowly regular citizens. In reality none of this should be illegal. If you ask me they should be treated as any other gun part. Sold made bought with no specia...

Get one if you can find one. It's a sweet weapon. It's the only .308 semi auto I've fired and it's my favorite rifle by a long shot now.

Re: Threading a barrel on a mill

Dinzag sells a thread kit with a thread aliment tool (TAT) its much easier and i can do it all by myself, i think im going to do that and hell i may get lucky and it be good to go and if not oh well. i really want to just get an ak74 muzzle device for it and leave it for a while, then im either goin...

Re: Help deciding on 7.62 supperssor

Not as quite as the AAC but the YHM phantom IMO has a better mount design. The springs a stuff that could break are in the mount bit the silencer. And AAC has tried to fix the fact that of the mount screws up and you need it fixed you'll have to have a new stamp, with the new SR7 and SR5 that don't ...

Here's a pic. I did the trigger conversion myself. I bought the lower handguard retainer from Dinzag he makes a lot of different saiga conversion parts.

Re: Threading a barrel on a mill

The machinist that's my unlce has mill threaded before I'm sure. And bender you saw someone mill thread an it still wasnt right I may not even try it ad just remove the barrel as much as I'd like to avoid that. I guess it can be ray hard if you have a press.

Re: Threading a barrel on a mill

Yea I'm sure the table would allow the rifle to be below the table and barrel pass through and mount the barrel with the muzzle 4-6" above the table.

Re: Horse meat OK'd for U.S. menus?

Eating horses like eating a dog. It's all meat but if you got a dog and then you eat dog all you can think about is your best buddy getting grilled. Just like if you have a horse then eat horse you just see you best riding buddy getting cut up and grilled.

Re: Threading a barrel on a mill

It's an ak. I don't want to have to remove the barrel an I don't think he could put it in the lathe without the barrel removed.

Threading a barrel on a mill

What's up everyone I want to know if it's possible to thread a barrel with enough accuracy on a CNC MILL. I have a saiga .308 and want to thread the barrel for an ak74 break but I want to be able to mount a silencer once I get one. Is there a way to do it on a mill indexing off the bore? I haven't t...

Re: .308 saiga With picture.

I really would like to get an ak74 muzzle device and keep this one looking traditional looking. But I also want to either make this one or buy another one and make it with black polymer ak74 handguards, folding ace stock, weld on HK sights, and either shorten the barrel and attach a phantom flash hi...

I said that because goingquite was talking about how people were paying more than 700 over msrp for the privilege to start paperwork right then. And that's one reason he was charging more and more as his stock was getting sold. All the way to 1700 bucks.

I'll bet your right bender but like I said if it is atleast with subs that's a pretty good achievement. And they should offer the bigger .30 ops can as an option.

.308 saiga With picture.

Here's my new .308 saiga after my conversion and lower handguard retainer from brain smithwick of Dinzag. The .308 is an easy conversion. I want to either make a reflex type silencer after I weld on HK type sights on the gas bloack or thread it for a YHM phantom that I'm thinking about buying. If I ...

They may have Fucked up when they posted numbers that were so far off they couldn't have been true but this thing looks awesome. It has some great features and if it is hearing safe with supersonic hell even just hearing safe with subs in 300 blk it's a sweet weapon. And the cost isn't that bad eith...
