Re: WTF item of the week!

If anyone is a 3gun shooter look around the 40-50 yd steel target, I've found several like this one. When the shot gun slug hits the steel at the proper distance, when the slug is flattening the center pops out away from the target Most never formed the drop or the drop pops off. Guess we need to ca...

Dripping lead from a bullet casting setup? Each drop cools, but next drop slightly softens the last that fell.
NOPE! But I do have that collection though.

Re: First form 1 completed

Nice work. What cartridge and host? Why so much 1st chamber volume? You could drill holes in the spacers to lighten the weight. For slowfire, the uneven heat spots on the tube wouldn't matter after the 1st 2 chambers. http://i1262.photobucket.com/albums/ii617/fastfire2/IMG_1193.jpg Break is .560 fr...

I have approx.. 30rds through it now. tonight I did the end cap mod and haven't tried it after the mod. I have no formal training on the lathe but have been around them for many years. Re: End cap modification

I was interested in the end cap design when I found it a few months ago. Can anyone make any claims on its performance? It seems it would allow more gas to flow rather than trap, but maybe due to it diverting at an angle it still makes it quieter? I noticed that this deign is convex where some manu...

End cap modification

Don't ember where this was posted, but someone I think it was a drawing of an end cap that had an extension from the bullet exit about .500 rearward that had small holes drilled at an angle, Can't remember if the holes were drilled from the front or rear into the extension. That interests me into an...

Re: Form 1 modular design

Manufacturers have a process they go through to get the approval, this process is not available to non-licensees. Besides by your description you have 2 silencers if either of them can be used on their own. If you look at the ATF approved commercial designs you will notice that (using your example ...

1. reread first post. I have a measuring error somewhere. I have between .005-.008 clearance. It assembles easily clean & disassembles without a whole lot of fuss dirty. I'm not beating the baffles in/out. 2. Thread is 20 TPI, .031 single depth, using this carbide insert tool: http://www.mesatool.c...

I thought I would just toss the idea out there of a tri-cut K baffle. If the discussion has already been done good, just wish I could reference it. I feel like I'm back to the complete basic questions about baffles. The more I research, the more variations I find, which creates hesitation on my par...
