Thank you. I trust and value your opinion. Now if I desired to get it refinished, is that legally possible? Logistically possible? It is a complete gun held by an older gent (over 75) in poor health. I understand he is slowly liquidating because of age and health issues. I am NOT getting a no brain...

Okay, I am in for the tube. I would be in for the entire can too. how about someone at the shop with good looking hand writing use one of those electric engraves to write the serial #onto each part? It would take less set up time than lasers. Danomite Danomite, There is no need to engrave all the i...

Re: Obtaining a homemade silencer question
An associate of mine owns a machine shop and recently made a couple silencers for his personal rifles ( all legally registered ) and today he asked me if I wanted one made. However neither of us are sure if he can legally make a silencer and give it to me (provided all my paper is approved ) to rep...

I have two forms that say suppressor and two forms that say silencer, all got approved with no delay. I bet they don't even care. My dealer just copies straight from the F3 two the F4 and. Two where from liberty and the other two were from silencerco. I'll let you guess who put which term on it. Lol.

I picked one the other day in the nickel finish. It's got nice weight to it and sounds really good with the specter II on it. The DA trigger is definitely heavy. It's nice though

Looking for P22 threaded barrel adapter in STL (found one )
I know the sources on the internet, but I'm looking to pick one up locally before I go out and buy it online. I rather not wait and just pick it up. My location is St louis MO
( Found a Silencerco one for 40 bucks at a home based FFL, last one lol) it was for my new PPK, works good

An SBR is any rifle with a barrel less than 16", and overallRafficarian wrote:If my registered machine gun can also be a Sbr, then why my Sbr be a machine gun?
I've never seen or read of any what trumps what in Nfa literature or regulations.
Length less than 26". So clearly SBR doesn't fall into machine gun

Re: Does a trust REALLY skip NICS?
How is this causing confusion it straight from the regulation authority. If I'm not mistaken isnt the link i presented part of 27 CFR 479.90? I know what the 4473 says about transfer, but this publication also conflicts with it, and that was what I was pointing out.

Re: Does a trust REALLY skip NICS?
There's a claim out ... that using a trust to purchase an NFA device makes a NICS check unnecessary. Also that someone legally purchased a suppressor in a state other than that of his residence. All it took was a $10 notary at a Mailboxes, etc.. Sounds like a pack of lies to me. Am I right? This is...

Re: Does a trust REALLY skip NICS?
In AL the 4473 is filled out but no NICS call is made. If its an Individual transfer it skips it. But trust or LLC require a NICS check according to the law. Unless you can get exempted from the check your CCW if it is consider sufficient as a background check by the ATF. Just cause the dealer does...
