Re: Stuck Between 3 Silencers

Here's my opinion on cans for a 300. A couple years back when I was shopping for 300 cal cans I bought a Liberty Freedom Mag because I wanted something that I could use on my 300 win mag....and a Thompson Machine Thirty because I wanted something a bit smaller than the Freedom Mag (both are heavy). ...

Re: Element II or Spectre II, Which One?

I think you chose well! I have two Spectre II's and haven't cleaned one thoroughly yet. Just open it once every now and then and knock out all the crud that's loose in there. I've had them about a year and a half or so. I don't shoot tons though so I'm prolly the exception to the rule when it comes ...

Re: ok i got 5 supressors and im waiting on .....

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. Really considering calling them about upgrading one of my Kodiak TL's to the Regulator. Really no point in having two of the same silencers.....I went a little overboard when I started buying. Have two Spectre II's and I've never shot with one of them.....some of my i...

Re: 6.8 SPC Suppressor reccomendations

Nice porker Elcapitan! I have a lease near South Toledo Bend on the La. side that has some huge piggies. I need to set something up to be able to pop a couple at night. I've been hesitant to buy night optics since I know I won't use them much. Thanks , I spend 3/4 off my time in Lake Charles so may...

Re: LED tracer nocks

I just happen to be added to their Pro Staff so I get a certain amount for cost each year, so I have been using a 3 pack in my practice sessions, I am also using some plain nock ones and some Gander Mountain also, I just use them for a crossbow because I was wounded in Afghanistan and am unable to ...

Re: 6.8 SPC Suppressor reccomendations

I've been hesitant to buy night optics since I know I won't use them much. Two things- 1) I just got back from a bachelor's party in Breaux Bridges (between Lafayette and Baton Rouge) and we rented a fishing cabin in Afatchalya. I looked up the game regs prior to going. The bachelor wanted to try n...

Re: Belt fed 9mm

I think the use for this would be to just have fun blowing through 150 rounds of 9mm. Hell, I've got more guns than I need and most were purchased just for the fun of pulling the trigger.....especially since approx 20 of my guns are 22LR  They sure are fun though!

Re: LED tracer nocks

yeah, they started making their own nocks instead of having someone else make them. They also are one of the only made in the us lighted nocks there are. Had a problem with the very first ones but havent had a problem since. It seems like the 180deg contacts have really made them reliable. Good to ...

Greetings to all. New user. First post. Long time shooter (35+ years). First suppressor. Dealer called today. Paperwork filed with dealer on 6/22 and stamp arrived today 8/14. I am truly surprised. I expected another 2-3 months before it came back! Range time tomorrow! BT That is fast. I mailed a c...

Re: Personal Experiences on your 9mm AR SBR

(Long time lurker, first time poster) I recently finished a Quarter Circle 10 9mm AR. It's a QC Glock lower, bolt and 5.5" barrel. Upper is a side charger from Gibbz. Ti-Rant 45 is currently attached until my 9mm version comes out of jail. It runs like a top. I assembled it but did have a gunsmith ...

Re: Suppressed Pistol, Which Make/Model??

A while back I picked up a FNH 45 Tactical for home defense. The magazine capacity was the selling point for me....15 rounds of 45 is all the firepower I should need hopefully. It's obviously a heavy bastard when fully loaded and wearing a can, but in a home defense situation I"m thinking I won't no...

I am looking into getting a 9 mm host and suppressor. I rented a Glock 19 and Sig 226 (both non suppressed)at...

Happy shooting and congrats on your first of many NFA goodies. It always starts with one.....then you blink and have a binder full of Form 4's and need a bigger safe.....or two.

Re: Approved Eform! What do I do now?

I take a photo with my phone, since I generally have my phone on me or close to me while shooting, hunting, etc. This is my primary go-to Form 4 proof. Between that and my drivers license showing my name I figure I should be good. I had been in the practice of having copies made that are shrunken do...

Re: Personal Experiences on your 9mm AR SBR

I've got one on a DDLES (now QC10) Glock lower. It was originally set up as a 40 S&W gun and I later built a 9MM upper for it. It's a 5 in ADCO barrel, JP BCG. It has a 9 in rail on it since I wanted the Octane 45 partially covered. I did have a Slash buffer and Wolf heavy spring, which worked well...

Thanks again!

Re: Personal Experiences on your 9mm AR SBR

Are you talking about your suppressor mount? Unless they have a non-standard thread, the threads your 22 AR are probably 1/2-28. Maybe someone else with more knowledge of that upper can chime in. Scratch that.....I had a brain fart while reading the post about 1/2"x36 threads.....I was thinking tha...

Re: Personal Experiences on your 9mm AR SBR

If you can find one with good reviews a glock lower would be your best bet then. 9mm AR-15 mags are like 40 bucks each. ETA: also forgot to mention (don't know how much research you have done) but most 9mm ar-15 muzzles have 1/2-36 threads as opposed to 1/2-28. You may need a different FH/adapter/m...

Re: Do you carry at work?

I run an independent pharmacy and keep guns in locations where they can be accessed quickly should I need to. Re: LED tracer nocks

Best lighted nock is Lumenok, hands down....Brightest and doesn't have a switch to fail. They have the Patent on the switchless design. I've had more trouble with the Lumenoks turning on than the cheap-o's from Academy. They WERE brighter when they did come on though. The ones I have turn on by a s...

Re: Personal Experiences on your 9mm AR SBR

I'll bite. I have a 7" 9mm upper from JSE surplus. They don't make my upper any more apparently (just checked the site) but I have a 7" barrel with a 7" YHM quad rail forend, CMMG ramped bolt for use with a standard hammer, spike's tactical 9mm buffer, Hahn precision bottom-load mag block and metal...
