Re: Video Review: SWR Warlock2 suppressor

I'd rather have a contaminated booth than a house. Hazardous waste disposal is free for civilians but not business. That includes free disposal for contaminated glass. Civilians get screwed if their land is contaminated though. You are then no different than a major corporation. I hear and agree wit...

Re: Video Review: SWR Warlock2 suppressor

I agree. Also, Liberty recommends sand blasting.... which also spreads lead everywhere. I might have to build myself a negative pressure hood. I'm not a fan of airborne lead dust. I don't care if it's inside my house ( toxicity issue ) or out in the lawn (FDA Superfund issue). http://libertycans.net...

Re: Video Review: SWR Warlock2 suppressor

This looks like a moderately annoying way to clean. Possible health hazard. Lead dust everywhere......

CTA baffle manufacturing

Just curious, how are your CTA baffles made? Stamped? Investment-casting? CNC machined?

Also, how easy is it for you guys to mix up the design? Do you guys ever do any custom baffle work?

Re: Video Review: SWR Warlock2 suppressor

3 oz is amazingly light. I can't believe I didn't realize that about the can before. Please do a review of how easy it is to clean. Aluminum means ultrasonic and dip are off limits right? It feels fake when you pick it up lol. No US cleaner for this one. I am planning a "how to clean different supp...

Re: What .30 cal can?

What hosts do you shoot the most? If it's 300 blackout add liberty chaotic to the mix.

If it's cast boolits check out Thompson machine thirty.

If it's bolt guns then check out liberty freedom.

If it's the AR then saker & chaotic.

Give us more info.

To me *range time * with a suppressor means I don't have to muff AND plug. I only have to pick one.

Meh I didn't see specwar in his post. I blame the iphone or turbulence on the airplane.

Still, the 7.62 saker and liberty chaotic are great do it all for NATO rounds rifle cans. Just stay away from magnum rounds.

Re: First silencer, I'm lost.

Marcus99, I'd really rethink the dedicated 5.56 silencer. There are a lot of people that bought a 5.56 silencer that have regrets, they will tell you they should have bought a 30 cal instead. Even if you don't have anything 30 cal to shoot through it now you might in the future, and the extra volum...

Re: First silencer, I'm lost.

Infiniti is strictly a pistol can compared to the Mystic. It's lighter by 4 ounces, but that's the only advantage from what I see. For just 4 extra ounces, you can shoot full power 556, 6.8spc, full auto 300 BLK sub AND supers, and then throw it in the dip for cleaning. I'm still learning but I own...

Re: First silencer, I'm lost.

If I could only buy two cans they would be liberty Infiniti (9mm sub 300 BLK) followed by the liberty chaotic, saker 7.62 or specwar 7.62. Octane 45 and mystic are great cans but a tad heavy on 9mm hosts. If you shoot 9mm a lot definitely factor that in. The liberty cans are supposed to have lower b...

Re: Help me pick my 5th supressor

Well you don't have a light weight 9mm can (osprey). There is a big difference between the 45 can and a 9mm osprey. The liberty Leonidas would be tops for me as well. Can't beat it in quiet. As for bolt action the Saker, Specwar, liberty freedom and harvester are all good for FMJ. Thompson machine t...

Re: About to buy - 45 and 762

Octane cans are very very nice! Cleaning is a dream. Have a Saker 5.56 and a Specwar 7.62 in NFA jail at the moment. Would have ordered a 7.62 Saker had it been available when I bought them. Great company to deal with. Am sad to see the SWR name disappear ... Same here. I always equated SWR as a wo...

Re: Help me pick my 5th supressor

308 cans will have less blowback, maybe a 308 can with volume? The Saker and a mount won't be cheap. On top of that the hoplon increases blowback and noise. I have a saker 5.56 but am wondering if the saker 7.62 would do been better. Plus 5.56 doesn't wear down 7.62 cans as fast so hoplon...

Re: How could AAC improve the Element 2?

If you must keep the K baffles then clam shell it up like the sparrow. Also, the element is supposed to have the worst blowback. Is that fixable? I own an essence, sparrow and Spectre. I was tempted by the elements size and weight but passed when I heard about the blowback and difficulty of cleaning.

Mini4, but still need ear pro. Oh I have no delusions about using a moderator, which is what these short cans really are on the 5.56. Still, if you had to shoot a guy in your house, would you want an A2 at the end of your carbine, or a moderator. I think I'd want the moderator on that thar weapon. ...

Getting a copy of Form 4 from a just submitted e-file.

How hard is it? I'm trying to get a copy of the submitted Form 4. I assume the dealer has to do this and and I can't. The suppressor was submitted via e-file.

6 days left to make the Saker lower rebate deadline.... :-p

Yeah for competition! Hopefully they will build pistols to handle the stress and avoid the issue fireman ran into with his HK

Also, 8 figure severance package?!?!? Wow! I didn't realize the industry was that big.

Why do you want to suppress? Home defense? Thompson machine Poseidon with grease and wipes.

Range time ? Octane or Osprey (lighter) and Liberty Infiniti

I think you are right Trooper. I have to admit, that first tech pissed me off with his immediate and constant denials. I did cool down in an hour and call back to the very professional tech supervisor who did exactly like he was supposed to an offer to test the ammo. I have edited my original post....
