YHM Maxin 1911 Suppressor

Anyone seen or heard the YHM Maxim 1911 suppressor? I was just on their site checking some things out and checked out their suppressor page and saw it. It is using an offset design. Says something like classic design with performance. Just curious if anyone has any info on it since I have never hear...

We cant keep or buy our issue weapons now a days. Back after WW2 and korea, they could buy their issue rifle or pistol, or some units probably let guys keep stuff too but not today that is for sure.

Exams.

Finals are coming up and the kids take to the streets to riot to get out of them. Been happening this way for years. South Korea actually has riot seasons. Or that was the way it seemed based on my experiences there years ago.

I am going to try the TAP when I get back, but like you I cant afford very much of it. Mainly I use the M193, as I shoot that I am going to break out my reloading bench to make up something along the lines of the TAP. The M855 is accurate enough, never printed it, but at the zero range (25M) can get...

Steve, i got confused on what you were saying in your post. Your right about the expanding bullets being better ones to use, I wish I could have some right now, but I am stuck carrying the basic M855 stuff. Luckily I got rid of the british stuff that they first issued me when I got in country. It do...

Current M-4s are 1-7 twist with a 14.5' barrel. The M16A2 has a 1-7 twist with a 20' barrel. The M16A1 has a 1-12 twist with a 20' barrel. (Some of the earliest were 1-14). 1-9 is a commerical offering, not a US military standard. We went to a faster twist because we went to a heavier bullet. If you...

Here is what i have done. Set up trust, using my then current address on the trust, then updated the trust when I move states. Remember trusts are state specific. So when your residence changes you need to update your Trust. Keep the name of the trust the same, just get the paperwork updated and not...

If you have the cash now for the VX-III then go for that. But if you dont have the cash and want a scope now, the rifleman for $50 would tide you over until you have enough saved. Yes the rifleman is Leupold entry scope, and there is no comparison between the two scopes you mentioned. I would probab...

You do not need a FFL to receive the firearm back for you. Since you already own the firearm and you are receiving the same firearm back you can mail it to the company and they can mail it straight back to you. I have sent firearms rifles, pistols and receiver back to manufactures and to gunsmiths a...

So how hard is it to remove a FH that has been rockset'ed on? So do you just have to crank real hard on it to get it off?
