congratulation. So now that you have tested positive for chronic NFA disease what are your plans to buy a number suppressor. It only takes one to get hooked now that this is been accomplish. Do you plan on moving to a larger bore suppressor or maybe a pistol suppressor?

Spec war 762 and 300 Norma magnum

Was looking at a long-term project to build a magnum rifle. I decide to go for broke and try out the 300 and magnum. Being that I have a spec war, I thought hey I should try and express it. I have gotten some input from guys on sniper hide about the cartridge itself. They call it a super magnum and ...

I just want all of my new toys by the end of the year if not possible the beginning of fall. I have plans to travel so want to make sure that was taken care of and in place. I hope everyone knows that silencer Co. is having a 25% off on all their accessories and merchandise so take a look into it an...

Careful, you're mixing up the terms trustee and beneficiary. Trustees will always need pics/fingerprints/background check. I see where you coming from. The way I would do it to minimize my paperwork low on my own side of things is to just have me as the only individual that needs to have fingerprin...

Re: SBR MPX Form 1 question

They got the forms kicked back because they had "sig mpx" or "mpx" in the model field? I did "ask the expert" and they just came back with a generic "Use the model that is marked on the firearm" instead of giving me a straight forward response. I think they just like denying peoples forms. I have s...

I did the sig mpx on my form 1. Heard of people getting kick backs on their forms. Plus I see SIG MPX on the side of my pistol.

Re: Supressorgedon 41F

I have one more SBR to submit, but I have to wait until the repairs on the lower seat to get back to do the form 1. But after that it would just be getting the parts and accessories for all of my toys. After all this NFA stuff I can go back to regular purchases of firearm parts Also if anyone missed...

I lost my mind beating the deadline. My trust people are spread out over multiple states, so after July it's hurding cats to add more. My original plan last fall was one rifle, one pistol and one rimfire. After that once I got one and shot it for a while I'd decide on the next. Instead it turned in...

Re: The omega 9k

I don't notice flash to be an issue with any HST (or any 9mm load for that matter). As far as short barrels go, AmmoQuest's testing on YouTube shows the regular HSTs to perform great in short barrels. If the 150s in fact have lower recoil than the 147s (which granted are pretty warm) then I would r...

1 dB is absolutely unnoticeable at the ear. SilencerCo's own video for the Omega 9k states 133.4 dB with a P226. It's silly for anyone to get worked up over a few dBs but unfortunately everyone gets caught up in spec wars. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4tpj8iH9xk Hey there I love my spec war :lo...

Re: The omega 9k

The 150 grain 9 mm HST, it just release last month and I was wondering if you have heard anything about it. It's running at 900 ft./s and it's a great round design. I don't see the point, the 147 HST is a fantastic round, what does the 150 do differently and better? I definitely agree that 147 HST ...

Re: Form 3 Wait Times...Am I missing something?

Yes is very true a lot of work that seems be unnecessary. I'm surprised that they did not even attempt to digitize form 3 transfer years ago. For me I was surprised how fast my stuff got to me though I was expecting to be after the deadline. But I'm not complaining now, so I'm seeing my SOT tomorrow...

I have to say the Omega 9K is right on the money. You have a lot of veterans here who have a lot of experience in buying, building, and a wide collection. Don't be afraid to ask any more questions if you need to and welcome to the suppressor game

I'll have to ask the SOT if they have a vet discount. I too have my DD – 214 . I did some more digging around in all I can say is I find more people talking about the 9K. From what I've heard it has put a lot of other reputable full size 9 mm suppressors to shame. This NFA game is getting expensive...

Wanted to get my X-mas shopping complete before the July "change".. My 9mm, 40S&W, 9mm needs had me looking at the Ti-Rant and Octane 45 HD, as a b...

The only question now is, is there a Kydex company that makes suppressor holsters? that will be awesome Kydex gets soft at a low temperature, unless your only planning on storing the suppressor is before shooting, it will not hold its shape once the suppressor gets hot and could even melt. Still a very new can to the market so not a lot of them in the wild yet, but based on some of the testimonies of folks on this board who are industry insiders, it's a great can. Omega 9k

Well I pulled the trigger on the Omega 9K last month. And it should be on his way here probably this upcoming month. I'm looking forward to putting this on my MPX and M&P 9C. I'm just here looking for anyone else experience with the suppressor itself. Any issues, tips and tricks, and maintenance to ...
