Re: MPX or CZ Scorpion

I have had a SBR Scorpion since March of 2015. Zero gas in the face suppressed. Little recoil, especially with 147gr or heavier. Gets my vote. lol http://oi67.tinypic.com/21nplzt.jpg http://oi66.tinypic.com/2s7ewpt.jpg I have to admit that CZ looks very legit. It a good job with setting up the rig ...

Re: MPX or CZ Scorpion

Thank you for your compliments, Sir. Glad I could be of help! Six of the magazines were from the significant Sig discount. Two were on sale last week someplace for $53 each. One came with it and the rest are from Gunbroker. I don't know how you were able to get a deal on mags out of gunbroker. I ac...

Re: MPX or CZ Scorpion

To Trooper and Chase. You both have great articles and reviews on the MPX. Also to trooper I saw in one of your earlier posts this year I believe you did have review on your MPX. It was well done and streamline to see the lease well done my friend. This one goes out to Chase and his recent post with...

Re: MPX or CZ Scorpion

I have a Gen2 MPX and had my barrel cut down to 4.5" and threaded to 1/2x28 its not gassy at all. I have been getting blowback with my Octane 45 but sadly I do get blowback with almost every host with this can. With my Tirant 9 there is no blowback at all. My form 1 is still pending and I'm waiting...

Re: MPX or CZ Scorpion

Please take phone off of Auto-correct. (Or review speech-to-text output b/f posting.) Wire/why are . thanks for the tip. but back to the question tho. Why in the hell is the magazine so expensive? Economy of scale. Few people generating little aftermarket/spares demand. If someone created injection...

Re: MPX or CZ Scorpion

This is open to everybody here. Has anyone noticed any Q and E problems with the MPX. I saw a few videos to YouTube involving it having some poor quality in manufacturing. Misalignment love scratches and bolts not holding it in place. Just curious to be to hear his opinion about this. Some of y'all...

Re: MPX or CZ Scorpion

I don't mean to start any controversy here between anyone. I'm really and considering buying the MPX but just want to make sure from other more experienced professionals about the hearsay and rumors. I deftly love them both. But I'm in a sort of a time crunch of getting them straight now before 41F ...

Re: MPX or CZ Scorpion

I have no personal experience w either. But have always heard that the CZ Scorpion was nototiously hard to hold steady under recoil and therefore inaccuracte. Always heard GREAT reports on HK MP5/40. Sig's MPX looks similar and is extremely customizable. I'd DEFINITELY choose MPX. I'm heading to a ...

MPX or CZ Scorpion

Well I've been looking at getting a pistol to SBR. Currently I'm stuck between the MPX and the CZ scorpion. I love them both and I'm looking for a good sub gun. This is open to everyone and all input is welcome. What has been your experience with either platform and how to run suppressed for you. I ...

Specwar 7.62 with 300 blk

I know this is kind of a stupid question. But I was wondering if the three blackout subsonic is a low-pressure round. Would it be possibly safe to run it with water or gel base product to increase oppression of sound.

Re: 308 aero preision SBR

UPDATE 3/24/2016 Well there's good news. I got the uppeR receiver with the M lock. It married nicely with the ball carrier for the 308. Also in the mail I receive the buffer to, spring, and buffer. I'm still waiting on the lower receiver to come in. And I think am going to use most of their parts f...

Re: 308 aero preision SBR

Well so far so good. It's been a lovely two months of collecting the parts and I've so far acquired the complete upper without the barrel. I've also have the BCG and the buffer tube with assembly. Is been quite a chore getting parts together because of the whole panic buying recently. Even with that...

Re: This May Become a Problem

I just sent the paper work in for my first silencer (Spectre II) this week. I thought what the hey, I'm already waiting for one, so why not wait on another at the same time? Today I purchased an Octane 45. I can see this becoming a problem. :D you already took the red pill. you messed up on that pa...

Re: 308 aero preision SBR

7.62 Specwar does a heck of a job on the 12.5" 308 AR! You will be pleased with it mounted ... and impressed by the flash and bang when it is not ;-) 308 Shorties really are spectacular! I love my spec war and I get the evil eye from other suppressor owns. 8) Its not the prettiest and its looks sim...

Re: 308 aero preision SBR

I'm glad your not getting talked out of this, because it sounds like something you really want. My experience was shared in the hopes you would understand the likely outcome. I've fallen victim to my own unralistic expectations before, and it can suck. That "experience is what you get, when you did...

Well I know this is going to piss a lot of people off, I just can't resist it. if you wondering why now link below. But I'm going to take the strip lower from aero precision and SBR it. Re: Any special considerations for suppressing 7.62x54r?

It's just a bad time to purchase a Specwar 7.62. I called the closest dealer on the list and he checked all his distributors while on the phone, all out of stock. Seems as though the universe is telling me to file for another Form 1. I was in the same boat that your in. I made the SOT order it from...

Re: Any special considerations for suppressing 7.62x54r?

Very disappointing morning. I gathered up my cash and went back to the local dealer only to find out his distributors are all out of the Specwar 7.62's. He gave me several other choices from his "in-stock" list, none of which were improvements (based on my limited research). https://silencerco.com/...

Re: Any special considerations for suppressing 7.62x54r?

Thanks! I've seen that video and most of the other ones on the Specwar 7.62 that pop up in a search. I'm guessing that the corrosion aspect isn't as big a deal as I thought. I received some "Red Army Standard" once that pitted the barrel, brake, and gas tube of a PSL in 8 hours. I plan on making my...

Thanks for the info I really appreciate it but I have put my mind to it and I'm going to do the precision build instead. I will still make my ar SBR but consider the 308 SBR for the very later future.

Re: Any special considerations for suppressing 7.62x54r?

For me personally I have done a 7.62 x 54 R rifle suppress with a spec war 7.62. I love it very much and it performs very well. Also I see that you're doing your own personal build so you will not have any trouble with the alignment process. Lastly the rifle that I suppress with a Mosin Nagant. the ...

Re: 308 aero preision SBR

I haven't built an AR-10 SBR, but shot two different ones owned by others. My personal opinion is that you give up more than you gain. I worked in a gun shop and built at least 50 black rifles for them including some AR-10's and tested everything I built. Some combinations work well, some less so. ...
