Re: Thinking of selling my KAC UNS-SR anybody interested!!!
How's the view at higher magnification through the Nightforce? I've always considered the UNS-SR to be an ACOG device more than anything. I have doubts as to it's performance at higher scope magnifications. Maybe 3 or KevinB can chime in here. Specifically, did they send you a data sheet with the tu...

Re: Thinking of selling my KAC UNS-SR anybody interested!!!
You have a data sheet? Any through-the-tube shots? I might be interested but it's gotta be worthwhile to pick it up over a PVS-24.

Re: How many lunchbox OGs do we have now?
How does one get inducted into the OG club if one missed out on the original Christmas special run? I would really like this barrel for my KAC SR-15 E3 CQB upper and have no issues popping it in myself. If any OG lives in a NFA unfriendly state please PM me and maybe we can work something out. You ...

Re: Should Psychiatrists report people to the no-gun databas
I'll admit I voted yes. HOWEVER , I think there should be stringent regulations in place before a psychiatrist or psychologist can make such a recommendation. It's clear that people who commit crimes such as this have a screw loose. Trying to diagnose as such is obviously difficult, and I think need...

Re: Paying for a rifle in another state for my son
Prefaced with I AM NOT A LAWYER. The thing that sucks is the first line, 11A, "are you the actual transferee," may very well be accurate, and on the form they could answer yes. The "/buyer" after it I don't necessarily think supersedes the "transferee" part. YOU are not...

Re: Way cool.
That's cool on multiple fronts. Not only did the quadrotors position have to be programmed, as well as their own internal lights, they added mirrors to the bottom which had to be programmed independently, and on top of that they had to program all of those lighting fixtures. They probably purchased ...

Nice rig but damn that scope is high! I know the AICS has an adjustable cheek piece but that can't be comfortable to shoot like that. At least mine wasn't.

Re: Which would have harder recoil?
There's a thread over on ARFcom in the night vision forum under the armory tab. Read it for recoil info. CJ7Hawk has done some excellent work on it. People forget that felt recoil and peak recoil are not the same thing, and it translates differently to electro-optics than it does ones shoulder. As a...

Re: Check out this GemFail.....
Unfortunately that's sort of par for the course with Gemtech. I got passed around for quite a while until I was vocal here and on ARFcom about my Blackside. Sure it finally got fixed but from what I understand I'm the only one that got fixed for free and everybody else had to pay from that point fur...

EMC vs ECC, which would you choose and why? What advantages does one have over the other? Is either more desirable?

Re: I don't understand the military
Part of the problem is the proliferation of polymer mags that have not been vetted. Sure Magpul Pmags are decent mags, but when you have uninformed soldiers buying plastic mags from any number of manufacturers and assuming they are as reliable as GI mags or Pmags you run into issues. I don't have pr...

You're right. Seems they definitely had some inspiration though. It was a very quick glimpse and my eyes must have been playing tricks on me. Thanks for clearing it up. SilencerCo was not the first to produce an eccentric designed silencer. In fact, AAC displayed their Blackbox something like 2 or ...
