Yep. What he said!

I gotta admit it does feel like you're shooting a Daisy BB gun, but it is stupid quiet and great for a great many things.

Re: Gemtech Quicksand .30 Cal vs Subsonic ammo question

Hell, Gemtech offers 300blk in 187 and 220 gr subsonics, so I can't imagine they'd limit recommendation to the other brand.

I think you just need to be sure you have a fast twist to stabilize the bullet and try a few rounds without suppressor to be sure you don't get keyholing.

Re: Big win in Senate against Obama's gun control agenda

Thanks all for the points of view. I do see the point and agree, just wasn't familiar with the proposed law and its content.

Cheers,
JB

Re: Big win in Senate against Obama's gun control agenda

So does that mean folks on tfhe terrorism watch list CAN buy a gun? Seems kind of messed up if that is the way it is. When I worked at a gun shop a few years ago, returning vets were often delayed on instant background checks, but we won't prohibit terror watch list folks. Or, am I reading this wrong?

Re: CSO determined to bring ISIS to US.

Yup. Like allowing amnesty for illegals, the democrat party is simply using our tax money to import and cultivate future voters.

Doesn't matter if you walk some steps here and there. It is all still exercise and good on ya for doing it.

It is far easier to keep inshaope than to let it go and try to get it back. Especially as you get older!

Give in. Resistance is futile......

Amen brother! It is indeed a slippery slope. Got two cans and about to order another. Got one lower on a form 1 right now and another ready to be filed.... It will never end!

I'd love some stick time on a classic like that. I bet that airframe has some memories it could share. And those huge radials are great for turning cash into noise!

Re: good AR 5.56 upper and lower ..

I've been happy with Detroit Gun Works and Aero Precision forged and Sun Devil billet receivers.

Get a good trigger (Geissele is what I have, but others are good, too) and good barrel and life will be good.
