Glock 17 SBR Stock Options
I got my F1 back after a 6 month wait, for my G17 SBR. Just ordered a fairly standard MAKO stock to hold me off while I find something better. I'm mostly interested in the FAB Defense KPOS. They have a GEN1 and GEN2 I guess. From what I'm seeing, I actually prefer the GEN1. Does anyone here have han...

Re: looking for NFA trust lawyer in Misssouri
I received all my forms/items, in hand, ready to shoot later today. This route/attorney/trust worked 100%. Just wanted to let you guys know. If you have any questions, even if you are going the trust route through a different atty or all on your own, just ask, PM or in this thread. I'll try to do my...

Order direct from Lone Wolf: http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=939&CAT=237 It's $125 + Shipping, a bit more if you want it black. If you haven't ordered the suppressor yet, let alone sent any paperwork in, chances are your barrel will show up long before you ever receive the silencer....

Back when I bought my first can, the average wait time was about 3 months from paperwork sent to stamp in hand. It took me 13 months, and over $1,000 before my stamp arrived. Turns out I'm one of the unlucky few who shares a name with a twice-convicted violent felon. It of course, fell upon ME to pr...

Re: Feinstein Goes For Broke With New Gun-Ban Bill
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.)—author of the federal “assault weapon” and “large” ammunition magazine ban of 1994-2004—has announced that on the first day of the new Congress—January 3rd— she will introduce a bill to which her 1994 ban will pale by comparison. On Dec. 17th, Feinstein said, “I hav...

Re: fienstein wants ar,s under nfa
Check the pmag prices on any auction site, or anywhere they are actually in stock ... Tell me how CTD has done wrong? When I bought mine, they were $12 a piece, including the dust covers. Is there anyone here willing to sell me another 50 for that same price, tax free? I bet not... How about anyone ...

Re: fienstein wants ar,s under nfa
One thing about this whole thing... it's helped make me aware of which fuck-stick companies I WON'T be doing business with once this s--t blows over, and CTD is at the top of that list. They're nothing more than low-life POS opportunist scalpers IMO. Yeah, F--k those capitalists who allow the free ...

I called a few days ago to check status on 7 forms I have in right now. When it came time to ask who the examiner was, the gentleman on the phone shrugged off the question and said there has been a lot of swapping going on, so he couldn't give me an answer.

Re: Interstate travel with SBR - With a twist...
Valid point Bendersquint. My last 5320.20 took two months almost to the day, and I'm fairly lazy so ignoring the paperwork and process is right up my alley  . I'll probably just toss the SBR in my trunk and not worry about it since I have zero intention of stopping in the state I'm merely t...

Re: Soviet AS/VSS 9x39mm rifles compared to 300 Blackout?
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/45/VssVintorez.jpg The Soviet VSS Vintorez suppressed rifle has fascinated me for years, I think in large part because of the fact that I'll never get to shoot or even see one in person. Growing up with the paranoia and fear of full-scale war with the Sovi...

Thanks guys!
I'm going to try the 5320.20 because it costs me nothing but postage. If it gets denied then I have proof the ATF didn't deem it necessary.

Interstate travel with SBR - With a twist...
I have to drive through a neighboring state in order to get to work, even though I work in the same state that I live in. I doubt this is a very common situation, but I'd like to keep one of my SBRs in the trunk. Is a 5320.20 needed for a situation like this? I'm thinking of filling one out for the ...

I was on the last bench and the guy to the left of me was blasting away with his 16" AR. After I fired a couple rounds he says to me, "I need to get me one of those". In my head I replied,"yeah you do". I was nice though and he asked some question and I explained the proces...

Re: I finally got my stamps (and suppressors)
Disclaimer: I'm not an attorney, or LEO. Basically, as far as I can tell, there isn't a requirement to have your form, be it the original, or a copy, in your possession while enjoying your NFA toys. Is it wise? Probably  but also remember, the only person who can legally request to see the for...

Killer looking combination you have there, very compact package! My question would be though: "What are the muzzle velocities of the "supersonic" and "subsonic" rounds when fired through this unit?" Is the integral unit dropping the velocity of that 125gr round signific...

Re: Eliminating "ring" from Blackout mount
My 9" AAC .300blk upper came with the blackout flash hider, and I was worried about the tuning fork effect when shooting subsonic. I purchased a Brakeout Muzzle brake to use instead of the flash hider. Don't know if that's an option for you, but I'm hoping to get rid of the ring by using the br...
