My wife is paying for my Evo 9, including the 200 bucks the Federales want for the stamp. She bought me a XD9 for my birthday. Last Christmas she bought me AK kits and parts, and gave me the money to buy the tools for the AK builds......

Thanks for the pics, I tried cutting and pasting, I suspect the problem viewing the other pics was mine. It looks like a lug mount on the Mech Tech. I think I am gonna bit the bullet so to speak and get one of those uppers.

Everyone has their own expectations about what a can should be able to do for them. Bolt noise doesn't bother me, hearing safe is my primary concern. I read the meltdown stories earlier. I can't imagine running mag dumps in this pistol anyway, you can look at it and tell it isn't made for it. Again, I have almost nothing in it, so maybe it will be unsupressed for life.
