Re: Single point threading titanium tube

A trick that I learned for hitting the mark to engage the half nut is to keep back from the part quite a ways. When the mark gets close, lock the nut. If you missed, then you have room to open it up, back off a bit and try again. Once you get it right, allow the cut to be made, you just have to wait...

Re: Reporter attacks Trump, has his Mngr arrested.

Her hoax story is falling apart. I'd love to be in the courtroom when she gets cross examined. It'd be a hoot to see her squirm.

The prosecutor is a Hillary supporter and active in her ground game from what I've been reading.

Re: BEATING A DEAD HORSE BACK TO LIFE

I apologize if I inadvertently deleted some posts with valuable information. However, when a pissing match rears it's ugly head, I'm going to clean out what I deem necessary to get a thread back on topic. Myself and others keep an eye out for Robert. It is a privilege that we do not abuse. Now if an...

Re: Do you trust your government?

I've had a few beers tonight, so that is my caveat. I've seen a lot of videos in my day, but this one really got to me. I was shocked by it. Seriously disturbed. As for labels, labels these days are so f***ing screwed up. The MSM and PTB have us at each others throats in order to keep us distracted ...

Re: Double Jeopardy.

This is definitely a good mental exercise. Even though you'd already paid the penalty for a crime that did not occur, morality and conscience should come into play to do the right thing. i.e. turn in the original "victim". On a side note. I am of the belief that if a person is convicted an...

Re: Does being in prison mean you lose natural right of self defense?

If they make it illegal for a prisoner to defend themselves, then the penal institution is ultimately responsible for their safety and culpable if they fail to keep them safe. Prisons have a legal and moral responsibility to keep all inmates safe. We know that they don't but imho they have a respons...

Perfect at work trainer

Just bought one of these. My employer is spending all kinds of money on stand up desks for the health of employees so I will expect them to pay for it for me and anyone else who wants to use a trainer while working.

Re: How do you explain Donal Trump

What the GOPE needs to realize is that the Trump supporters are in it for the long haul. Cult of personality, yadda yadda yadda, it doesn't matter because we've heard it all for months and will not change our minds. Months of unrelenting attacks and name calling will do that to people. My wife, a di...

Re: How do you explain Donal Trump

Well... Let's see. I don't live in a trailer. I own my home completely. I am very educated and work as a system test engineer for a world fortune 10 corporation. With the exception of a 24 month loan for my Jeep, I am debt free. I expect and have never received any government assistance even though ...

I am setting up a whole regimen of exercises for the next few months. Lots of seat time. Lots of leg work running. And lots of core building. I can easily do 80 to 100 miles a day now, but I want to sharpen the physical edge a bit finer.

Finally pulled the trigger

I made the leap yesterday. Airfare to Canada with a hotel for 2 nights in mid June to ride the tour divide mountain bike race route. Banff Alberta to Rooseville Montata is 230 miles or so. Then another 400 to Helena Montana. After that, I might try to make it to Yellowstone which would put me at 1,0...

Re: SCOTUS Justice Souter worries that Obama will succeed where FDR stumbled.

There are a lot of parallels between the state of the US and ancient Rome. The way that I see it, there are 3 alternatives. We get it turned around with a conservative leader- There will be conflict, strife and possible violence. And hope. We go with the status quo. Just more of the same. We allow t...

Kind of a whirl wind in this thread eh... Got a complaint. Play nice. Watch the language. yadda yadda yadda. I'd love to see it pass; however, getting it past the desk of the child king is a long shot. I did clean up the language a tad. Don't like, it, tell the management. FWIW... I worked full time...

I am hoping that the RINOs are seeing the outrage by their constituents and opt to take a step back rather than piss us off any more that we are right now. my senators have already been put on notice that we do not expect them to allow another justice that goes against our state's values. I'm going to be getting a Spot tracker here pretty soon. It is amazing that they'd cancel such a potent air platform. It has a definite role that can't be met by anything else in our arsenal. But... There aren't big contractor $$$$'s involved with something new and flashy if you keep an old workhorse around. That role is anti-tank warfare.... and it isn'...
