Re: Rac-Em-Bac Bow Mag – Bullet tipped arrow!

This just seems weird - without a barrel, how much of a contribution is the bullet going to make?

Neat - if you run out of ammo in a firefight, the suppressor can still be used as a lightsaber.

Re: Caracal Makes Ammo, Too

Cool. I'm still wrestling with keeping my Caracals vs. taking them up on their refund offer. I do like their pistols and I believe they are making an earnest effort to develop their product line (as further evidenced by the OP) - but I'm still finding it difficult to commit to these things.

Re: 261 miles PER GALLON, new Volkswagen XL1

It has a 47 hp 2-cylinder diesel engine for cruising, an electric motor for getting moving from a stop, and it weighs less than 1,800 lbs. - I believe their estimate (under ideal conditions), although I'm sure one wouldn't see a 261 mpg average in the real world. I'll bet that thing is miserable to ...

Re: Was the Earth really flooded for 40 days/nights?

I'm torn on this one because there is a lot we do not understand about the climate cycles of this Earth. I think it's possible (perhaps even probable) that there was a great flood once, but I would be most inclined to agree with Robert - the entire planet seems like a stretch, but vast areas seems m...

At some point its just going to be beyond what the brain can physically process as a biological piece of hardware, and all hardware has its limits. We are the first creatures [that we know of] that may possibly be able to shape its own evolution. We're only beginning to unlock some groundbreaking a...

We've known this for awhile. I was unaware of anyone who has actually returned their Caracal - there is a list right now, and when replacement guns are in-country, they are going to perform an exchange.

It was alright - I think the Hurt Locker was much better.

The first two hours reminded me of a really slow, boring version of Homeland; the last half hour was mildly entertaining. Wait for Redbox.

Re: Morgan berates guests in 'balanced' gun special

Seriously, there's a new thread on Morgan everyday lately. We're giving this guy way too much attention and his ratings are probably much higher now than any time prior. Let's all just leave this tool to his own dark corner of CNN purgatory and concern ourselves with things that matter.

That is a man who doesn't understand the concept of principles, inalienable rights, or anything of the sort. His mortal soul has been washed away in a sea of moral relativism.

I almost didn't read it because no description was provided in the OP and it was a long read - passing over this one would have been a big mistake. The author does a spectacular job deconstructing every objection we pro-gun folks encounter from the antis. The arguments are based on logic and reason ...

I early adopted and I'm glad I did. The Metro stuff is a little unnecessary if you don't have a touch-screen enabled device, but some of the apps (Calendar and E-Mail immediately come to mind) are quite good. Boot times are lightning fast and there does seem to be some performance tweaks across the ...

Re: When my parents found out They Flipped out

The best advice is to find new living conditions. I would look for a roommate at an apt or house - a lot of people would love to share a place with a guy who isn't home for a whole month most of the time, and you could probably negotiate something like a 25/75% rent split.

Re: How to get the minority vote.

But the decreasing income equality shows that the owners siphon off more and more money, leaving less for the average citizen. And money is power. So in reality more and more power is concentrated in the hands of a very small elite. Our economic system isn't a zero-sum game. If one desires wealth, ...

You're barking up the wrong tree. Obama is the man who should have motivated everyone who is even remotely conservative. But they just didn't get off their asses. You can't blame Romney when THAT assclown was the alternative. I agree with you 100%. I cringe every time I see Romney; he was my "...

Hey guys - look at the numbers. Romney failed to get 3 million of the "white" votes that McCain got in 2008. John Fucking McCain. Our problem isn't that all the minorities turned out in droves to vote for the Libs - it's that the GOP's candidate failed to get out and mobilize enough of the...

It is a fantastic game. The game play is just as solid as the first, and the humor is even better - I'd put it up against Portal 2 in terms of hysterical character dialogue. If you are even a casual gamer, you need to check this one out.
