Re: Light triggers on a budget

I've had some triggers worked on by Bill... they're 'ok'. Better than stock anyway. Look for a CMC if you want a better option. A Jard trigger would probably work real well for what you're wanting to do, and they can be had for ~$130 to $140. You can go from 1lb to 4lb pull with them, depending on w...

Same here, no issues at all. With either the stock barrel, or the threaded HDD.

Re: Beretta 21A or P22 for small size suppressed 22?

The 21A is a higher quality gun... it's steel, and just better built. The downfall of the 21A is it's sights, they are all but nonexistent. P22's are light, fun to shoot, fairly accurate (they do have decent sights), and carry 3 extra rounds. The P22's downfall is that they have been known to have t...

Re: Moving with suppressors

Another piggyback here... if moving to another state (that allows NFA, obviously), do you have to notify the local LEO in the area you are moving to, or just the NFA branch? At a Federal level no but there are some states that require permission slips from State level to have them. Check the state ...

Well, after being absent from 300BLKtalk for a month the Alpha rep FINALLY showed up with this to say: Sorry about the delay in my response. With the increased sales & call volume it's hard for us to respond to all forum requests timely. Bottom line, if you have a problem with with our barrels ...

The original QMF had a rounded end cap versus a flat one... hence the "corndog" comparison.

Re: Reduced power buckshot?

Don't fool yourself, penetration at short range isn't that much different from the tests I've seen. Low recoil slugs and buckshot will be penetrating the wall and whatever is behind it. Well, I said "reducing the NUMBER of walls", not the wall behind whatever you are shooting at. Besides,...

Re: Reduced power buckshot?

The way I see it, recoil tolerance doesn't have much to do with it, although it may be the motivation for some. Reduced recoil rounds are designed as a close-range / home-defense type round. You're not giving up that much in performance, but you ARE reducing the number of walls, etc, that it is goin...

Good, glad it's an improvement... I have two that just came in, sitting here for my 1100's. But I knew when I bought them that fitting would be required. I thought from your first post that maybe you weren't happy with their performance.

Re: get pending date, or just wait?

Call, or don't call... it won't speed it up OR slow it down. I like to know that mine actually went pending so that I KNOW it's in the que, and after that I forget about it. I've heard several stories where people waited for months after check cashing, only to find out they weren't even in "the...
