Input needed regarding Octane and 9mm jacket separation.
Let me summarize situation quickly. Have a octane 9HD shot on beretta 92 and glock 19. Has been sent back to silencerco 2 times for what I though was end cap strikes. They checked the mouths and barrels and even tested fired it and it all looked GTG. (awesome customer service BTW, cant say enough go...

Thanks for the reply, already called and talked with Tyler and he has already got the can back and is checking everything out for me. Another big +1 for silencerco service. Fast and friendly resolving issues. Why I continue to buy their products.

Re: Plated bullets through suppressor?
What does the end cap look like? I have a topic in silencerco section about similar concerns, Im worried I was getting minor end cap rubs but now Im thinking maybe Im just getting end cap blast from jacket pieces. Is yours showing continuous wear from this as far as you can tell?

Octane 9 problem with piston causing end cap strike?
Long story short I bought an octane 9HD last year, shot it on my lone wolf barrel block 19 with 1/2X28 mount, I sent it back after end cap strike and silencerco was great about checking it and replacing end cap no problem, barrel they said was in spec always made sure everything was extra tight and ...

Saker 556 maad mount install
Just got my saker maad mount for the trifecta FH mounted. Haven't shot the suppressor yet but impressed with features so far. My question is the manual states to lightly oil threads and torque maad modules to roughly 35lbs on suppressor body. I assume most people will just hand tighten it with tools...

Re: Endcap erosion - Need help figuring out why
I had the same issue on mine using LW barrel and factory ammo super and subs. As I posted on another forum silencerco more than took of the issue for me but I'm
Worried it will reoccur as well. Maybe silencerco can weigh in with some thoughts.

Re: Tactical barrel for 92fs
Guess I will just thread my factory barrel since it looks like gem tech is not getting anymore in anytime soon. For people using factory threaded barrels are you guys using stock recoil spring without issue? Im curious if my octane 9 will run reliably on it.

Saker yhm mount Availability
Just got my latest set of form 4s in. Finally got my saker along with my 762 phantom. ]What is the status on on the YHM saker mounts?, coming soon? I would love to have one since I already have my phantom 556 installed on my sir. Also are they still making the A2 spec war mounts? I can't seem to fin...

Re: Tactical barrel for 92fs
I'm in the same boat. I have been looking for a 92 threaded barrel to put my octane 9 on. I have not been able to find a barrel anywhere. Gemtech has been out for a long time. So is there enough room on factory barrel for 1/2x28 threads to be cut for my octane?

I wonder if they could design an endcap with an o-ring like the Spectre ii. That thing is awesome. And endcap stays super tight.

Re: New Octane 9 baffle strike! Input needed.
Yeah I will have my can on the way to them this week. They are more than taking care of me fixing it. Gotta love silencerco. They are going to take a look at the barrel too. Question is if it is indeed the barrel which it probably is I need a new barrel. My other LW 45 barrel has been gtg. I got it ...

New Octane 9 baffle strike! Input needed.
So took my new octane to the range today for the first time. Shot it on my block 19 with Lone Wolf stainless threaded barrel. Come home and notice it looks like I got several end cap strikes. Thankfully tube looks fine, one baffle had a small nick too it appears. First I am sure silencerco will take...

Re: Yhm brake mount
You mean the brakes should index without peel washer or FH ? The brakes have ports on top and sides and have a solid bottom so they must be orientated down.

I looked and maybe it is a peel washer but I certainly couldn't see anywhere on it that looked like layers to start removing.

Yhm brake mount
For those of you with yhm 5.56 mounts. How are you timming your brakes? The 5.56 phantom comes with what looks like a crush washer and not a shim kit? Obviously I am concerned with alignment using a crush washer. Funny the reccomend not using a crush washer but then include one?

Help with MK18
I just recieved my form 1 for my SBR. Just made it out before the shutdown thankfully. Question is I have a YHM 5.56 phantom. I want a DD 10.3 mk18 upper but I want to know if the YHM can work with the rail clearance or if I need to go with a 10.5 upper. Anybody know?

Check out Gunsmoke Guns. They have lots of suppressors and suppressor ready handguns in stock most of the time.

I agree on the factory SBRs. Really want a DD mk18 sbr too. I have seen a few slr106ur sbr on gunbroker but they were significantly more than what I paid.

16 inch suppressed AR buffer weight?
Just a general question do most people run standard buffers for a suppressed 16 inch carbine? My 16inch runs fine with yhm 5.56 phantom and gas blowback isn't too bad with pri gas buster but I'm wondering if I should run a heavier buffer as the rifle does seem a bit over gassed.

Re: In state moves with class three weapons
As far as my situation is concerned you would simply send a 5320.20 for esch item as it is approved? I asked my SOT about the form 4 adress being different than my address for NICS check for the SBRs when I pick them up. He said he wasnt sure if it would matter or not he said to ask ATF. The NFA ass...
