Re: Now available DIY felony kit

I think the purpose of making a product is to make money on it . . . You can say what you want about the price but they aren't going to sell it for "what they've got in it". They have overhead with machines, building, employees, etc just like everyone else. I understand making money, I've...

Re: Need some help on how to order a 5.56 Saker

My dealer called several of his distributors and he was told nope you cannot have it your way. I have to buy the MAAD with the FH and the MB as a separate purchase. So the design allows you to utilize what you already have in order to save money but if you have nothing to start you have to buy somet...

Need some help on how to order a 5.56 Saker

This will be my first 5.56 can and I do not have any special brakes or FH's on any 5.56 guns just standard the AR style FH's.

I want the MAAD mount, so am I correct in assuming it comes with the Trifecta FH or do I have to pay extra for the FH.

Can you order the brake instead of the FH?

Another one in a league of its own.

One question though. Why not squeeze in another small "K" in the front end cap?

Like to find old thread about OD threading tube for endcaps

vs ID threading tube. Does anyone remember this old thread about the pro's and cons of ID threading tube for endcaps vs OD threading of tube for endcaps.

Thanks

How is this legal POF MP5 with Sig style brace?

http://gunssavelives.net/gear/video-coolness-of-the-day-closest-thing-to-legal-mp5-sbr-without-a-tax-stamp/ How is adding such a brace to a gun that does not have a buffer tube legal. ATF letters speak directly to the brace being used with an AR style firearm and with the buffer tube. How is this n...

Heck and I thought I was giving the simplest explanation for why there is less felt recoil.

PS not all muzzle brakes are designed to direct gas backwards :D

Re: Less felt recoil with suppressor? Or is it in my head?

Rapidly expanding gases hit baffles and pushes gun forward=less felt recoil

There are two holes, one drilled from rear and one from front. They are exactly opposite of eachother.

Just an FYI there are a few good vids on Youtube showing how to use a handtap

But wouldn't condoms be a better choice? The REAL Op probably used condoms, but HK marketing used them on each other before the photo shoot. So they used a flip-cap instead.

Re: KAC Snap-On Suppressor

You can legally make the wipes yourself. As the ruling goes you cannot have extra wipes pre-made for the can. You must destroy the existing wipes and than make new ones. Do not buy neoprene rods to make the wipes, buy sheet material. The Snap on Can uses 8 1/8" thick wipes, so buy a sheet of ma...

Re: QD vs. Thread-on for 5.56mm suppressor

I think the question you have to ask is, why would you ever take a suppressor off an AR platform once it is mounted? Removing it kinda defeats the purpose of having one and unlike with a handgun where you may have to remove it to re-holster the gun there is no reason other than long term storage in...

Re: What is on the end of the silencer that killed Bin Laden

Clearly it is there to encapsulate the artificial environment that was created in the suppressor when they added some type of media or ablative. They did this in case the SEAL's ran into a potentially explosive atmosphere. It was widely suspected that UBL was cooking meth. Now you know!

OP if you ever get to hear a KAC XM-9 on a Beretta 92 with slide lock employed you will understand there is nothing quieter and certainly no slapping noise from the wipe.
