So I am kind of a dumbass when it comes to this legal stuff. I just know if it is fun, some jackass decides he has to regulate it in washington. So..... This is saying "firearms" made in Idaho for Idaho residents, and not for crossing state lines, AND marked "Made in Idaho" are e...

I have found that keeping your left arm slightly loose lets the gun bounce a little more. That was actually the only time i did a full mag dump, luckily we decided to turn the camera on.
The next thing I need to try is the rubber band trick...

Nice. I threaded mine 1/2-28 tpi as my first time ever cutting threads on a lathe. I figured if I screwed up, who gives a s--t. Luckly, there is a hole bigger than 303 caliber bullets in an A2 birdcage flash hider, so now I have a semi tactical gun that I can break, and not really loose too much sle...

Subsonic 7.62x54R !!!

So I got done with the chrony and using the lead sled, and I am proud to say I have some subsonic loads for my M91 Mosin Nagant. Apparently it is a 28.5 inch barrel, with a 1 in 10.5 twist. I am using the gas checked 200 grain round nose bullet, cast from Lee molds, sized to .311 with hornady gas ch...

I have wondered the same thing. I might have to try to machine something to pin on through the front sight pin.

I was thinking I would just go with some Omega baffles. I have access to all the tooling needed for that. I was thinking I would go with a core just to make it simpler as far as keeping it centered, but machining each baffle shouldn't be a problem. I have too much time on my hands as is

Is that a patent infringement to use on a form 1, and not for sale?

And if so, what's to ever stop me from doing it without posting it?

plus your height for the cone of only .1 inches is tiny. Up it some. Your design would look like the Tac 16, which is ok, but a longer cone should work much better

All they need to do to make the double defense even cooler would be to make it a quad rail.

Thank way, I could have my eotech, grip, laser, and light! all of which could be sold and a nice side x side could be purchased without me looking like a tool

I like the looks of that. I've got my remington 591 that seems to only really like high velocity unfortunately. subsonics seem to group about 2 MOA @50 yards, but high velocity group about .5 MOA I guess i need to try some more ammo But again I am jealous of that setup. I sure do like the CZ americans

Mini-14 Optics

So I have a Picatinny rail adapter for my Mini 14 that clamps on to the scope mounts, and it sets my Eotech 511 up higher than I would like. What are some good low profile red dots/ holo-sights that would work here? I was also thinking of getting the Aimpoint 9000 or 9000S and using ruger 30mm rings...

Which ever powder produces the least amount of gas leaving the muzzle. Some faster powders might produce a little more than slower burning, but usually not. Trail boss is amazing. I use it in my .38 with 158 grain LSWC, in 7.62x54R with 200 cast round nose, .223 with 55 gr SP, and .44 mag with 240 g...

the front endcap only needs to be .25 inches thick at most. Pressure at the end of the .22 is hardly a factor. Shorten the front endcap, and make the back end cap .5-.6 inches, threaded all the way. that way, if it goes to a different firearm, thread length isnt an issue. the cones could be a little...

I don't see why .049" walls wouldn't work better.

The M baffles will take up volume on the side, and reinforce the walls, and the more volume, the better.

I also think throwing some Aluminum in there for internals could keep it at a reasonable weight. Even if just for the last few baffles
