on most centerfire I prefer full auto option - on ultra fast fire weapons (22LR conversions that run 2000 rpm for example) I prefer the burst option unless just want the feel good fun.

as most 9mm hosts are threaded the same as 22LR (1/2x28) in America you still have the option open
check these out for sub-caliber in a suppressor

Nylon is one type of Polymer (like apple is one type of fruit)
I've shot a couple of boxes of coated bullets - no issues in Ti-rant 45 on 1911 for me.

I'm planning on using my own cast bullets with bake on powder coat in the near future.

Re: First suppressor... which host?

.308's come usually either 1:12 twist or 1:10 twist (faster) - the slower you want to shoot a bullet the more the twist rate comes into play as it's what provides the stability - the faster twist will stabilize a longer bullet at the same velocity over the slower twist. You will find the stability i...

Re: What about living on a sailboat with Nfa items?

Are you keeping the location where the NFA items are registered now? or are you divesting yourself of it as well? I asked a similar question years ago and as I was keeping my residence I was advised to annually file a 5320.20 for the farthest state/destination I thought I would be taking the motor h...

Re: Time Machine Travel to WW II OSS Agent

Really? In 1942, the War Department came calling and ordered 34,000 Model H-Ds for the Army to use for basic pistol training. The large frame H-D had much the same feel, operation, and sights of the Colt 1911 and it was thought that these simple guns could be used to introduce new shooters to the fu...

Re: Mossberg MVP w/223 subsonic

I don't believe this secondary explosion effect exists. I've used H110 and Bullseye to fill just a fraction of a cartridge case with good results and never had signs of high pressure even though I've loaded thousands of rounds. For example I've used a 2 grain charge of Bullseye to load the 357 magn...

I'm thinking of jumping into the suppressor world and have a few questions. 1. I've heard that electronic form 4s are only taking about 6 weeks. Anybody have any idea how true this is? Last I heard E-File was down - if your going to get in this game you have to learn patience. 2. I'm looking at Lib...

Yes, mine does but to be really quiet you'll need subsonic ammo.

Another suggestion - Savage Mk 2 FVSR - already threaded from the factory

Ruger - it can take a licking and keep on ticking.

Just make sure you have 4.5 inch or shorter barrel so bulk ammo
won't go trans or super sonic and be noisy.

Re: .243 Win & .270 Win and my Cyclone?

I'm using my Cyclone on a 243 Rem 700V.

smaller caliber is ok - only thing you have to watch is pressure when the bullet dumps into the can.
