The odd part to me is the gemtech part.:) sounds like he is trying to move some product via a good gun shop story. I agree. Here is what he wrote. "u might want to consider this: after eavaluating 8 of the beat n the business. i sold socom 150 gemtec outback-II's. they did the eval. shot over ...

Re: Does SOCOM buy through dealers?

Mil buys straight from mfg . They just enter it in books to who it goes to no waiting on ATF. I was told buy sales guy at a large mfg. This over several drinks so I could be mistaken. This is what I thought as back when I worked a NRL the policy was bulk was to be bought form the manufacturer. I di...

Does SOCOM buy through dealers?

Ok does Socom buy bulk orders of say 150 suppressors though a dealer or would they not buy direct? Is there a way to find out if such a transaction was made? IE if they did buy through a dealer would it not be under a non disclosure agreement of some kind? The reason I ask is on another forum a guy ...

Ebay has gone full on nuts now.

Ok I posted the Ebay guy selling the threaded tubes and end caps. Well he now is selling not just the tubes and end caps but washers and spacers! All listed as solvent traps but why woudl a trap need a stack of washers and spacers? http://www.ebay.com/sch/see_n_see_machine01/m.html?item=111060157576...

Anybody know where tooget a old fake SWD Ruger suppressor?

A bud on another forum is looking for the fake suppressor that fits the Ruger Mark pistols. He thinks the kit was made by SWD. He is looking for the suppressor part only. It is 7/16 x 14 tpi. This is a pic. of a gun with the kit installed and the suppressor. http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/h459/...

Re: How much would you have to be paid to sleep in a cemeter

When I was 16 a friend and I went to a concert across the state. The tickets where far more then we thought they would. As we had our pack and very little money we spent three days camping in a mausoleum way in the back on a cemetery. It was summer and wicked hot outside but nice and cool inside sle...

Yea I got one of those uppers here somewhere. It is easy enough to buy a new one. The only thing that took time was picking the forend! I searched high and low for the one that would have the look I wanted. I ended up finding the one on it that was a Midwest industries 12" MI-SS-12 and it came ...

That is a direct rip-off of David Goldman's basic gun trust. The OP's trust nonetheless. His co-trustees are still listed. There's no personal identification/copyright marks on every page like there should be. If you want to be legally pursued by the most well known NFA trust lawyer in the country,...

You could use a piece like this and for that you could attach the bayonet and pull from the middle of it. I will check if I have any other out there. Though I now have two people asking me for lamps already!!

What to do with cut off parts.

I cut down that 9mm barrel and had the front end left over and set it aside to take it out to the shop and throw in the leftover pile. Well went shopping with the wife today and got a brainstorm. So after I got home did a little trimming a little drilling & tapping and a little wiring. I came up...
