Helmet gun sight...
For the helmet gun, this could be a suitable candidate as a sighting system:

It's a skydiving helmet camera sight. Once it's zeroed to the helmet, it doesn't matter if the helmet is crooked on your head. It's like a single-plane reflex sight.
