Re: New ATF ruling, 180 days from when entered in registry, are trust stamps submitted before that date good?
As I said, everything I've read from lawyers and dealers discussing ATF41P says "pending" but no one knows what "pending" means. I wouldn't take a chance on depending on postmark. http://blog.princelaw.com/2015/11/27/atf-41p-update/ Hence, all information currently suggests that ...

Does your NFA Trust have a Schedule A?
I understand that they are not required but I'm curious how many have them. Some people seem to think that they are required.

Good online dealers for SilencerCo cans?
Now that SilencerShop no longer carries SilencerCo who are some oher good dealers? I know of Capitol Armory.
BTW SilencerShop, if you're truly done with SilencerCo then you should remove the out of stock ones from your site.

Re: New ATF ruling, 180 days from when entered in registry, are trust stamps submitted before that date good?
"Logical government" is an oxymoron. Anyway, I keep reading that as long as your application is "pending" you're ok, so the question is what is "pending"? I doubt a USPS postmark qualifies as "pending". I would err on the safe side and get the paperwork in at ...

Mounting: direct thread vs muzzle device, how does it affect can life?
I understand that mounting to a muzzle device such as a brake reduces the blast that the baffles have to take but does it really make a difference in the service life of the can if you're not talking a high volume of rounds (let's say < 5000)?

Rugger Surge/Razor - do they have a direct thread mount option?
It appears not unless I'm just not seeing it. Direct thread will always result in about a 1" shorter OAL, right?

Re: Omega vs Hybrid
I noticed you didn't have the Griffin Armament Optimus listed, why not? The Optimus is not rated for full auto for 5.56. Not that I shoot full auto but that kind of sets off an alarm in my mind as to the question of durability. Also the web page on Griffin's site has a blank where the dB attenuatio...

Re: No tax stamp if its welded on?
Why are shrouded barrels so hard to find for 5.56? There should be a market for these, no one seems to be fulfilling it.
Being able to avoid SBRing is a pretty big deal, especially if you need to move the thing interstate which is a real hassle with SBRs, comically so.

Source for barrels or uppers with welded-on shroud?
I found a 300 BLK upper with a 10.5" barrel and a permanent shroud that allows use of direct thread suppressors. These seem to be difficult to find. Besides the fact I can avoid SBR NFA I also like the looks of them. Can anyone point me to other sources for this kind of barrel arrangement in 5....

Re: Omega vs Hybrid
I'm in the same boat as you, narrowed my choices down to Omega, Hybrid, and Razor. If you think you'll want the handgun capability and don't wait to get a dedicated handgun silencer then the Hybrid is the obvious choice. I'm leaning toward the Razor because it's the shortest and has a great tone fro...

Has anyone created their own 16"+ barrel from a short barrel + pinned/welded silencer?
So I really would like to avoid going the SBR route and I don't mind having a dedicated full-time 5.56 silencer. Seems to me a good route to go would be with something like a Griffin Spartan 3, just put it on a 10.5 or longer barrel and you can slap that onto any AR rifle upper/lower and be good to ...

Re: Suppressor Selection for Lightweight AR
You cannot beat the Brevis II Ultra on weight and length 3.7in long and 7.5oz. If it lives up to their claims it's also hearing safe : https://www.deltapdesign.com/suppressors/brevisr-ii-ultra-5-56-nato-rifle-suppressor.html No 556 rifle shooting standard ammo is hearing safe to my knowledge. There...

Re: Need help for next 7.62/5.56 suppressor.
The Omega is the most versatile can out there. I wouldn't say that. The Hybrid and Saker are more versatile in terms of platforms, accessories, and min. barrel lengths. That said, I'm leaning toward getting the Omega as I will primarily be running it on the end of 16" barrel and am a light user.

1/2x28 direct thread mount vs adapter?
Looking to get my first silencer, probably an Omega. This is will primarily going on a 5.56 AR-15 with 1/2x28 threads. The Omega 1/2x28 direct thread mount is $100 (that is pretty ridiculous for a simple little machined part) but a 1/2x28 to 5/8x24 adapter is only $25. Is there any downside to going...
