Re: My threaded Beretta 70S
I've preordered the new iPhone 4S and I'm itching to try out the new 1080p video recording. I was in the first run of pre-orders, so mine should be here in two days. Once I get it in, I'll record a video with it. Sorry it's taken this long!

Not yet. I was gonna try to see if Lowes had any, but haven't gotten around to it. I thought it sounded odd, too, and couldn't find it at McMaster-Carr.eseaton wrote:FACJedi,
Thanks for the info. Strange "size". Did you locate any using that number?

Re: Beretta21a+silencer review(video)
Brooks, +1 on the core question in regards to my earlier run Wasp. (mine has the old style endcaps) Also, what size O-ring do I need to buy to replace mine on the Wasp? Thanks eseaton, I'm not Brooks, but I've asked him the question about the O-ring before. This was his email reply to me: Wanted to...

LFOD, send your barrel to ADCO when you get it back! I promise you won't be disappointed! Historian, I've got the pretty woman. She just agreed to marry me this past Friday night, too! Haha. She's also far more lethal than I am... 4th degree Black Belt in Moo Duk Kwan style Tae Kwon Do! She's my ins...

Re: Beretta21a+silencer review(video)
Fireman, nice video, man! I like the lasting quality that the grease has (over, say, water or wire-pulling gel), but don't like the extra mess/smoke that seems to be associated with it. Granted, I haven't tried any myself, yet, with my Bobcat/Wasp pair. Also, I've been asked to do a video of one of ...

Re: Which thread pitch?
I'm in the same boat trying to use a 1/2X28 can on my 13.5x1mm 226 bbl. Anyone find a source for an adapter? General consensus I've found from the few firearm machinists I've talked to is that an adapter for 1/2"x28 from 13.5x1 won't work well because their screwing in opposite directions and ...

Re: My threaded Beretta 70S
Wow, how long did they take to get it done? Just a little over a week! Super-fast turn-around! I am VERY happy with their work! With respect to the internal threading of your barrel, did they make you a thread protector to keep lead/crud from building up on the threads (for unsuppressed shooting) o...

With the Wasp, yes. With the Spectre, no, but JUST barely no. Sighting through is easy. Once I get the stamp back on my Nano, I'll have another to compare.BLMJ wrote:It's pretty. Do the sights clear?

My threaded Beretta 70S - Updated with video!
As requested, here are some pics of my newly threaded Beretta 70S in .22LR. She is a beauty, if I do say so myself! Best way to clean a Thompson Machine "Wasp"?
Ok, to all the Wasp owners out there (or Brooks, if you're reading), what have you found to be the best way to clean up the insides after a shooting session (or a few days after a shooting session... )? I know with everything being aluminum, that means that the dip isn't an option. What have ...

Re: Sterling with a rail?
I'm posting this in this section because I'd like as much input on the subjest as possible. I have a wise lite sterling semi auto, and I'd like to put a rail on top. I'm wondering if there is anyone who's done this? I was thinking of getting one of those rails from cheaper than dirt that youcan att...

Re: Which 9mm Glock for suppression?
Ok, so I seem to more often than not see Glock owners talking about their suppressed G19s instead of the full-size G17 or another version. Not owning a Glock, but being curious about suppressing them, I'd like to know if one is more preferable over the other? What 9mm Glock do I want if I want to s...

Re: Bobcat owners: feed jams?
Nope. I don't buy into the habit of downloading magazines when the manufacturer designed them to be loaded completely. I'll try it, but I don't see that as a fix.Jmark wrote:Have you tried loading one less round in the mags?

Re: .380 vs .32
the bersa is good looking, has some nice features, and gets good reviews. but the main attraction for me is the price, especially used. for that kind of money i don't have to worry about it. small boats and expensive pistols just don't go well together. i just thought that if the .32 suppressed not...

Bobcat owners: feed jams?
Ok, so I'm unfortunately having with some alarming regularity feed jams with my Bobcat. By this, I mean that the round is catching on the TOP of the breech while being stripped from the magazine. This usually occurs within the first one to two shots out of a new magazine. The ammo being used is CCI ...

Re: Glock 26 (w/ G19 factory threaded barrel) & Trident 9
I took the easy way and just got a barrel that was factory threaded. Here's what the set-up looks like anyway. http://img847.imageshack.us/img847/272/glock26trident9.jpg Wouldn't that be awkwardly long without the suppressor attached? I mean for concealed carry and such. Can we get a pic w/o the su...

Re: .380 vs .32
The Sig P238 is a .380 that operates on a locked-breach short recoil action instead of straight blow-back. James DeGroat of DeGroat Tactical Armaments prefers this little .380 for suppression work when paired with his "Nano" suppressor. Might check them out.

Re: Need high-quality barrel threading services
Ha. I guess I wrote too soon! I just got off the phone with Tornado Tech. They said they don't plan on offering threading options for the Beretta 70S. Looks like I definitely need another option, then. Internal threads it is, then.

Hmm... Tagged for interest, seeing as how I have a 70S in .22LR that I have been trying for months to get a threading option for out of Tornado Technologies. Try to get the barrel internally threaded 3/8"x24 TPI, with a 3/8" threaded length. Extremely tolerant of abuse and allows me to th...

Need high-quality barrel threading services
Ok, so after trying for several months to get an answer from Tornado Tech on whether they can do something like this for my Beretta 70S in .22LR, I've decided it's time to start trying to at least get a few other options lined up. I'd really like to use TT again because they've done all but one of m...
