You need to add porting to "work" the gas versus just slowing the gas and allowing a space for it to expand (several times).

The torx bits are honestly a very creative way to do it, and seems like it would work much better than the simple ball bearing technique. Bravo.

The vast majority will be from the expanding gasses exiting the suppressor and I'm not sure how you would test the suppressor without that noise factor.
