Accuracy of Subsonic 7.62x39 in AK
standard bullet is 123 grain. Will 200 or 220 grain subsonic handloads have acceptable accuracy, or will the bullets keyhole as soon as they leave the barrel?

Aluma-Hyde II vs. Anodizing
I'm going to make a monocore suppressor out of 6061 Aluminum. I don't have the equipment to anodize myself. How does Aluma-Hyde II hold up?

Don't know why the pic did not post before, but here it is: http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/mm376/MMH64/Supprev8.jpg I have integrated alot of the feed back. Most notable are the elimination of the blind stop to the barrel, centering the core on a taper (which allows me to have a nominal 0.024&qu...

...I got around this by hanging the core between both the base and the rear caps using tapered rings that register the stack dead center. There are better ways to do it, such as by making the monocore and base cap as one unit, with perhaps a viton o-ring at the very bottom. Unscrew the end cap, whi...

How quiet are Supersonic rifle cartridges
I want to get a suppressor for a rifle, but am wondering how quiet would a supersonic bullet be? If I really want to get quiet, do I need to stay subsonic? If so, would it make sense to get something like a uzi carbine or other carbine that shoots a pistol cartridge?

...You can prevent this by: Minimizing the blast expansion chamber size, running the can wet or simply blowing smoke into the can (if you smoke). I think it's better to do a good design than going back to smoking or drop some Coke into the can ... (joke) ...For the Blast, best result is 1 or 1.5 ti...

Newbie here - can you explain what you mean by Buum or FRP? Out of a pistol I think even high velocity 22LR will be subsonic. What is th...

From the FAQ section: Can I post Images? Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture....

I finished the design of my monocore 22 suppressor and would like to get some comments. This suppressor will primarily be used on a MkIII & some on a 10/22 (and my AR15 after I get the 22LR kit (would not be used w/ 5.56)). This is a liitle tough to visualize if your not used to look at engr. dw...
