Re: How many 12 year olds could you take on?

What's the pain threshold of a 12 year old though? I don't think massive blows would be required, unless we're talking about ex-juvie kids here. I think a good whack on the ear would send them off to do something important they forgot about. Just be careful of the x factor kid, the one that's a psyc...

Interesting that there was a slight delay in lockup after each shot with the can on, I didn't see it as prevalent when you were un suppressed.

Re: Silencerco Customer Service

I called them with a question about a thread adapter, the guy put me on hold, went and got the part off the shelf, and gave me the measurements I was after on the spot. Ordered the part up when my can got paroled, and it works perfectly.

I don't mind a regular word, but yeah, the capital letter, number, minimum characters crap drives me bonkers. Then you call customer support, they ask you for your password, now some yahoo has it and you gotta go home and change it. Boooo

Yup, typical human virus-ism, if that's a word. If not, I just made it up. Destroy where you live, then move on to the next place. Of course for every Cali plate I see, a gigantic diesel truck with a TX plate tries to murder me on the road, but that's oil money there, so I can dig it.

Re: Is half the cake better than none?

With the seemingly unstoppable inrush of Californians into the state, we're gonna have a tough time booting these tards out of office. I've only been here 10 years, but the word I'm getting is that it started in the mid-eighties, and doesn't seem to be slowing. Sure wish somewhere else would become ...

The funny thing is, it doesn't matter. No one is enforcing the law, it's a complete joke. I can direct you to any number of places selling 16+ round magazines out in the open. There was a big article the other day where a reporter went looking for normal mags, and it took him literally no time at al...

Re: How loud is the sonic crack inside?

I've since joined a range, and I know what you mean. Firing in one of the 50yd berms that come all the way back to the shooting position, the Tirant is way louder than firing at the 200yd berm, which is wide open on both sides. I've since gotten a Leonidas and an Axiom, which both make the Tirant se...

+1 for N320 if it works for 45ACP. I also run it in 9mm and it's mad cleaner than AA7, and a bit cleaner than CFE-P.

It's only a 3-4 month wait on a trust right now. Get the can you want, not just what's on the shelf.

Re: Death Penalty, which method is best?

I went no country for old men style, seems cheap and effective. I'm ok with the victim's family getting to pick as well, and carry it out if they choose. I'd also like to see people executed for failure to dim highbeams.

Re: AAC Ti-Rant 9 and Barrel

The piston has the thread stamped on it. Maybe you can call AAC, and if it's the oddball thread, ask them if you can trade just the piston out for 1/2x28 so you're not stuck with that strange thread option. If not, I'd seriously just buy the 1/2x28 piston and leave that weird one in the box, it'll g...

Re: Please help me find a 10/22 barrel

I'd go haunt rimfirecentral.com, mad 10/22 parts over there, I've seen 2 LVT barrel/stock combos go for $100 each. One went into my safe. Lots of people out there don't understand how good the factory barrels are, so they swap em out on day one, unfired.

Re: Do I take the washer off or leave it on?

Gonna have to second Mr. Squint here, if washers were a good idea on cans, they'd come with them. Seems to me that all the contact surfaces between the can and the barrel are perfect and designed to match up so the bores stay aligned. That wiggly washer is just to keep the thread protector on the 22...

They're not raising a nickle, they're putting their hands out and the money is getting put in it. Rich people are the most disconnected with real life, hence the most likely to funnel money into their cause. We're the ones doing it on couch change.

Re: Do I take the washer off or leave it on?

It's probably the wiggly factory washer, like a spring, that keeps the factory thread protector on. My Lite has the same thing, but it leaves a gap when I leave it on with my Axiom mounted. There's a small inletted portion in the thread protector that the washer/spring sits in, I would guess most ca...
