Re: FALL 2013 THOMPSON MACHINE PHOTO CONTEST! *FREE SUPPRESS
E&L makes the drums and winders for the AM 180. Bazooka Bros. makes the drum adapters for the AR22. I adapted both for the 15-22.

1K+ rounds. I'm on my second trip through the dip. No change in the surface. You guys want this treatment.

Re: Hornady jacket separated in my silencer...
It was.... and will be again. I love this can.
David Saylors offered, from day one, to take care of me. Hornady immediately said it was not their fault. Once I got a hold of a supervisor, they offered to take the extra rounds back for testing and evaluation.

Re: Hornady jacket separated in my silencer...
I just had some Hornady Z MAX 110 grain 300 Blackout/Whisper destroy the core of my .30 suppressor 2 weeks ago. I was using a new factory 8.2" complete Noveske upper, a custom Liberty suppressor and a fully loaded 30 round M3 P Mag. I hit he bolt release and the first round did not sound right ...

Who are you really worried about este? The people who will never like guns or gun culture? Some people will never get it... even if Jesus Christ sat down next to them and told them to chill the heck out.

Re: Interest in Melonite treatment on Sparrow tubes?
I just ran 550+ round through a 4.8" SMG this week, including multiple 100+ round dumps. After 8 hours in the dip, the Melonite treatment looks great. No difference. I don't know if this treatment is easier to clean but still cleans up well.

Re: Interest in Melonite treatment on Sparrow tubes?
I think it might be too late for me to do a scientific experiment with the dip. I wish I could done an experiment before I sent it in.
Maybe if the deal happens, one of you could compare submersion times in the dip, # of rounds, on the same host, before and after the Melonite treatment.

.380 is subsonic but I know what you mean. I used a Mk9K on my M11A1 and it seemed louder than my M11/9 and subs with the same can. I'm not sure if my expectations were higher and I have no meter data to prove it.

Re: Interest in Melonite treatment on Sparrow tubes?
I've put about 240 rounds through it since yesterday. I want to go to 1000. Once I've made another 200 round drum my M-11/22, it will be easier. I don't know about you guys but the Melonite treatment was never about making it easier to clean. For me it was about protecting the steel tube. The "...

Re: Interest in Melonite treatment on Sparrow tubes?
Yes. I cleaned the can before I sent it in. Too much lead will foul the molten salt bath, spoiling the treatment. Matt will have to make sure you guys clean them well or it will ruin the bath. "Hose down the kids before they reach the tub!" is what I tell my wife.... because I'm the one wh...

Re: Interest in Melonite treatment on Sparrow tubes?
My SS Sparrow is back from Matt @ Stalking Rhino Industries. The return packaging was excellent. The suppressor was in a plastic expanding lattice sock, inside a rigid cardboard tube, inside a rigid cardboard box that was padded with foam peanuts. I also really enjoy getting a silencer delivered to ...

Re: shortest threaded Ruger MKIII?
On my 3.5" upper I ground a standard rear sight to be lower, rounded and snag free. I used a TRUGLO long bead universal fiber optic shotgun sight. The fiber optic sight came with one sight and 4 different screws. The 6-48 screw fit the front filler holes of the MKII. For the 2" upper I was...

So you can have a registered O9 and a registered 2" tube and switch the baffles back and forth between the two tubes?

Change a suppressor's width?
Ok, so we know you can't change length or caliber. How about width? Could an Octane 9 to be turned into a coaxial design like a MK9k with the click together baffles? It could be awesome on a high cyclic rate SMG. Can you pay a 07/02 to mill slots in the front of the O9 tube and contain it in a 2&quo...
