I am running a Trident 9 on an M&P 9mm (factory threaded barrel). This is my first suppressed pistol and wonder if it is normal to have point of impact 2 1/2" - 3" low at 10 to 15 yards? This has occurred with all of my 147gr loads. At 10 yards the factory Win Ranger SXT 147gr. was es...

I do not think the whisper/blackout is quieter when shot through a 9mm can than a 9mm is. No formal testing, just to my ears. That said, I would still opt for the whisper/blackout with a 9mm can. It is still plenty quiet

I use MGI, AAC or endine buffers in all of my m16s and never had a problem in any caliber
