I was looking for informaiton about a lathe I had gotten and stumbled across this page. It has so much good information that I donwnloaded the whole th...

That is because in our country we look for the 'things' that might be dangerous to air travel. Other countries look for the 'people' that could be a threat. They train their screeners what to looks for, what questions to ask, and so on ...... and they are more effective. We have decided to rely on t...

I do my own ..... there is nothing better than using your own two hands (and your lathe) to tackle a project. Just today I chopped a standard length rifle barrel to SBR length. I gave the barrel an 11 degree 'target' crown. Then I changed to a four jaw chuck and indicated on the lands to two tenths...

ups will only deliver to a ffl That's incorrect. I've received firearms (repairs and whatnot) via UPS. I don't believe there are any laws or policies that dictate otherwise, unless you can prove otherwise. In a related note - I brought a lever action Yellowboy to one of those package centers to shi...

A sample letter for your consideration: Dear Senator ___________________: I am writing out of deep concern for the potential damage that new OSHA regulations could do to the ability of ordinary American's to exercise our 2nd Amendment rights. On April 13, 2007, OSHA published proposed regulations in...

URGENT - Gun owners need to act on this one.
This is not an urban legend - it is not a myth - it is not something that needs to be voted on ...... the Occupational Safety and Health Administration could change this regulation without notice. Once done - it could terrible for gun owners. Sources: http://regulations.justia.com/view/75627/ and ht...

No matter what you make, you will have to file a Fom-1 and pay for the tax stamp - that will cost you 200.00 right there. If you are going to do that, and you have no skills to make it yourself, you should just probably buy one. Tactical Innovations makes one that works pretty well called the TAC-65...

Re: favorite 9mm pistol host?
While I'm waiting for my Evo 9, I thought I would do a little research on which 9mm pistols seem to make the best platforms for suppressing. Beretta 92 (factory barrel can be threaded?) I like the Beretta 92 as a suppressed pistol platform. It has several advantages: 1 - The factory barrel on the '...

The Beretta 92 *does* need it. Yes, get one with it. The myth that will never die -- a Bertetta barrel does not move (it does). Might be a dumb question - but does it need it as much as Glock, Sig, or HK? The Beretta barrel does move, but it does not tilt as the others do - it simply moves back and...
