Re: Which "Budget" Suppressor?

Isis 2 is "cheap", until you factor in all the adapters. You couldn't give me a GT can(well, maybe). Save another 130, and get an Octane 45.

Re: 22 LR rimfire barrel extension specs. -Best way to attach?

I used blue on my Walther Colt clone. I would have preferred red, but you have to loosen it to pull the rear pin for cleaning. My Spectre 2 hasn't gotten "stuck", so it hasn't been an issue.

First thing to do is contact the manufacturer of your suppressor, and ask them what the minimum barrel length would be, then decide from there.

Re: New .22 Pistol Hosts?

I'm happy with my M&P 22 full size. Reliable through a high round count, and the action noise isn't too loud. If I keep the slide from moving with my thumb, it sounds just a hair quieter than normal.

Re: Silencerco's Maxim Vice Event Pictures! Check in!

Do you recall SiCo specifically stating the Hybrid is GTG up to .338L? A few other attendees or at least the posts are reporting .458SOCOM/45-70Gv't. By the way, thanks for taking the time to attend and to report back. Your reviews are instrumental to a lot of our decision making. SilCo e-blast sai...

Re: Design guidelines for an integral rifle silencer?

Porting probably isn't necessary, unless you are using off the shelf ammo. I have a Ruger 77/357 that I had cut to 10.5", and use a Silencerco Octane on it. With my hand loads, I can keep both .38SPL, and .357 Mag subsonic. Accuracy out to 100yds is phenomenal, and it hits like a sledgehammer. ...

Re: Which AAC Brake on SRS .308 barrel for SDN-6?

SRS is trying to lock people into their can. 3/4x24 is a "bastard" thread for 7.62 suppressors, and muzzle devices. AAC is using the industry wide thread pattern. Re-thread, and enjoy your rifle.

I added a 20# spring to my G19(Gen 4), and it is 100% reliable over 250 rounds with my Octane 9. There is a noticeable difference between it, and the OE spring. No malfunctions using anything from 115gr WWB, to 147gr HPs.

If you don't mind where do you send the barrel out to get EDM'd and what does it cost?
