Re: Oh No! They Are Back Again!
Oh... and on a side note, On the final episode of tat season when they had there shootout, I was extremely disappointed in all there shooting. I thought there skill in that area was laughable especially when they were all saying who well they were all doing and how great each of them were at shootin...

Re: Oh No! They Are Back Again!
Well I'm sure that you know more about this then I do. And I haven't had the chance yet to get any AGI courses. However, from the first season (only one I've seen) except for maybe one or two episodes they seem to at least make sure everything works before showing it to a customer. Sure they make a ...

Re: Best rifle can to jailbreak?
I must live under a rock or something... This is the first I've heard of Hunterstown. How do they stack up? It's also the only silencer maker I've ever heard of that makes rifle cans serviceable.. Is that generally safe? How do they stand up to other cans as far as sound reduction? I have to admit t...

I certainly agree with most of you about Red Jacket. What are your opinions of Gunsmoke? They seem to have their s--t together to me but I am no gunsmith (yet).

Re: Subsonic Reloading Manual?
As far as I'm aware no such tome of knowledge exists. You will have to get close with data you can find on this site and others and then tweak it for your gun and needs. Sorry there is no cookie cutter answer for you on this but good luck. All of us that have done this have gone down this same road....

Re: POI change suppressed v. un-suppressed - Is this normal
Did you look through the suppressor before you shot it to know that there is a difference? It could be that the baffles are shaped that way. Is there any damage to the exit hole at the end cap? Not saying you didn't have a baffle strike and your poi shift is certainly substantial, but I would make s...

Re: AR-7 / Henry Survival Rifle Threaded Barrel?
I too have a new Henry and find it to be a very reliable gun. I did have a break in period where I had some malfunctions for the first two mags, but after that I have had no issues at all. Love to get a threaded barrel for it too if anyone runs across one that will work for it. Also a little curious...

Re: Idiotic Theories Crumble In Wake of Colorado Shooting
If all it took was an example like this most recent shooting to blow holes in those arguments then they would have been gone long ago. All the school shootings would have done that years ago. The problem is point of view. WE all see these events as proving the points we have been talking about for y...

Re: Ammo to use ?
Speed of the round will have an effect on stability as well. Are you thinking sub-sonics or full power loads? The weight also makes a difference as was stated above. If you are uncertain about a round shoot it several times WITHOUT you silencer on it at different distances. Make sure you have nice r...

Re: Time for Americans to dust off their guns?
I like the idea of National Training Day. Over the past 4 or 5 years, without knowing this was a thing, I have been taking people to the range on the 4th to not only educate about guns but also U.S. History and liberty. This year my bachelor party is on the 4th (yes I'm getting married in about a we...

mattbowen, atilliar... given your RL responsibilities, my suggestion is for both of you to relax. You never go off duty. What you have both articulated here is potential bite you in the ass type stuff. IMHO, it would be wise to pick other topics/threads to post on. I'm not currently in that field, ...

Re: Man spends 2 years in solitary after dwi (with no trial)
As for the original post I agree with you 100% As far as the quoted part I have one question, what about the torture that child went through at the hands of the person who sexually assaulted them? I believe that the punishment needs to fit the crime. If rule of law was set up under the Hammurabi (s...

Re: Man spends 2 years in solitary after dwi (with no trial)
Well as I said earlier, I was a LEO. So I have been there. As a LEO a person who got drunk and just wanted to get home or whatever reason he got behind the wheel (which is not intent to harm some one) and accidentally kills someone, regardless who it is, does not justify you turning into a murderer ...

Re: Man spends 2 years in solitary after dwi (with no trial)
DUI laws are their to try to keep this from happening, let me tell you if more people saw these type of accidents I believe the opinions would drastically change. I will also say that if I ever were to goto an accident scene and found any of my family hurt or killed by a DUI, I can tell you he woul...
