So much for the myth of getting sucked out of the plane. If it is near enough and someone is unsecured it is certainly possible: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aloha_Airlines_Flight_243 Sometimes the cabin dump valve will not depressurize the cabin (if the captain forgets to set cabin altitude above ...

Correct, the President has the power to attack in what is usually called "Thirty day wars", after thirty days he needs Congressional approval to continue, without approval it stops.

Even longer- sixty days.

Do any of you have recommendations for good firearms history books? Not just types, function, and tactics but social and political commentary? I am reading A History of U.S. Field Artillery at the recommendation of a Vietnam Vet friend, but it is pretty cut-and-dried "then Gen. Arnold used arti...

Re: "Guns not integral part of American culture until Civil

I don't think it is anti-gun, but the more I read it and about it the more it sounds like a fishing expedition for notoriety and poorly done historiography. I can see the notion "universal gun culture in the U.S. did not exist as we know it until the growth of mass production in the firearms in...

Re: I want to suppres my full auto krink

You might have to get an adapter machined depending on the quality of your threads, but I would get a 7.62SDN as it will last longest with its larger bore and inconel baffles. You could also use it on almost any other non big-bore setup from .223 to 300 Winchester. It is also the best performer in c...

I am putting together something similar to this - offset and semi-QD, but without baffles past the muzzle.

Re: Shotgun Supressors?

Baffles help, but you can use a slightly larger tube and not have to increase OAL. I'm unable to post, but have an SAR article I can send to any interested of this build. It keeps 2.5" 12GA subsonic, is "quieter than un-silenced subsonic .22", and required little skill: http://i302.ph...

I find it interesting that people would argue and cite scripture that all human life should be protected (even before its born). And they make that arguement on a website that deals largely with instruments of war and tools originally designed to kill people... How dare you state the obvious...
