Re: AAC 762SD
I'm not a suppressor master...but I'm going to say no. The 7mm's pressure (4100 J) is a lot higher than a 308's (3600 J) which is usually the tell tale sign of no. Smart answer. Hopefully the below info will help out with future questions. You can use a silencer on an alternate caliber as long as t...

Re: AAC 51T mount question...
Thanks for the info guys. The one with straight flutes came in an AAC marked plastic bag. I contacted AAC with these same photos and they said I was good to go! They said that the old ones may not be marked and sent me an example of the old logo that was on the plastic bag. They replied the same da...

Re: 762SDN6 availability?
A dealer to dealer (Form 3) transfer of NFA items takes at least 30 days. Lead times are actually longer right now. Your dealer most likely ordered it from a distributor and they are just waiting for the transfer, now. Once the transfer happens, then paperwork is filed and your can will be shipped t...

I'm sure it's 1/2-28 I had it cut and threaded. The problem with that guide is there is not a spec for that pitch and a Ti-Rant in it I already found that. .500 seems close by my measurement. What should I do use a .20 spacer like some companies make for using a 22 cans on a 556 barrel? the Ti-RANT...

Clyde Armory in Bogart, Ga is another dealer I recently visited that has a ton of mounts in stock. I don't believe their website is up to date with current inventory, FYI.

I try to think every day, the wife may not agree with this statement, but at least I try... I also dislike that guns/ammo are out of stock at most places. Before the insanity, my local gun shop had every mount in stock. Now, not so much... If collecting stamps has taught me anything it is: patience...

Re: Couple of questions about Ti-RANT 9
Just FYI. We switched from the "snap" baffles to the "tabbed" baffles a little after switching to user serviceable, or take-a-part cans. This is because people were getting confused about the orientation of the baffles, so the tab makes it easier for the end user. In other words,...

Re: Tirant 45 full auto rated? Fixed bbL adapter for 9mm?
Thinking about picking up a TiRant in 45acp to pull multiple caliber duty. Obviously, I'll be using it on .45acp pistol, but I was thinking about using it on a Max-11 as well. I don't have a 9mm subgun suppressor and I figure that my older (obsolete) 45 YHM Cobra needs upgraded so I could kill 2 bi...
