Re: Porous metal tube.

The clogging issue has been mentioned - wouldn't this present insurmountable problems? It doesn't take long before carbon and vaporized lead forms internal crusts that would totally clog the porous metal. Not true? For Surefire baffles with the axial tension end-cap tightening, make it easy to rota...

Re: Porous metal tube.

The variable thickness of the permeable tube would be better.
Regulate the flow by varying an opening on the baffle tubular part.

The Surefire stack with the axial tension of endcap tightening is appropriated with the porous tube.
It would be the quietest one with no frp, I bet.
We should ask Kudos to make a test.

Well done video, but doesn't that kinda play to the anti crowds portrayal of silencers? Being used by hitmen and assassins and having no sporting purpose? Isn't that the image we are fighting against?

Porous metal tube.

I searched for a web to buy porous metal/alloy tube of 1"od to 1.38"od , I can't find it.
A porous metal tube with the open pores diameter of 5 to 100 microns.
Where's the best place?

TIA.

Didn't Connery's Bond use a .32 PPK? Would that be any more effective when suppressed? Yes, he did; given to him by Q in Dr. No. And yes, a suppressed .32 would be more effective than a suppressed .380 if using the same can with each round. http://gi153.photobucket.com/groups/s210/M882PFXSJD/JamesB...

The HTG baffle was designed before those baffles were.

Vais patented it years ago.
