Re: Suppressor Build Question
The main benefit of Ti is light weight. I like having a Ti tube, and the rest SS. 17-4 spacer to line the blast chamber and the blast baffle would be great. You could go to 316-SS for the remainder of the baffles and spacers if you wish, as most of the heat/pressure will be contained/delayed by the ...

Re: 9MM Short Suppressor Design
This would work fine on an AK47, would suck on a 9mm. You need to use K-baffles to make pistol rds sound quiet. Additionally, I make drawings with MS Paint also. You made a few labeling mistakes that a drafting lesson from youtube would help correct. And you could have used the "Copy/flip verti...

Re: Determining Older Silencer prices/values?
No, not really. They neither appreciate nor depreciate. Older models and designs tend not to be "cutting edge" so you can only index them against current models and access if that ONE item is worth buying at asking price. If it's a Ti .50 BMG can, then it is less likely to rust, but how do...

Perforated disc's with a dimple at the bore hole "like a K baffle" will help deflect gas and flame. I have a bunch of pictures but can't post them for some reason ? If they are on an image sharing site, just post the web addresses and I'll try to figure a way to code them so that they are...

Re: The Postman delivers.
whiterussian1974 : You have me a little confused about venting gas into the coax ? It all gets dumped to the next baffle in line. The threading of tubes internally to gain surface area was pioneered by Mitch Werbel (MAC) and John Leasure (PAI). This also permits screwing baffles in place without sp...

Re: Critique my AK suppressor
No, your first thought was correct. Diminish the spaces the further that you go down the tube.
As the gases get slower, they will spread laterally more easily. So tighter packing is the best idea.

Re: Clipping gap size??
Lining up doesn't matter. Since you are dual clipping, there is no asymmetry. So the turbulence that it creates won't cause yaw, yet is very disruptive to the gas flow.

Re: Critique my AK suppressor
Sounds good. You should probably double clip your cones. It adds turbulence and creates symmetrical pressure on the bullet's yaw. Maybe you could use MS Paint to make a simple drawing? It would help us to visualize it. Or even draw on paper and then take a photo with your phone. Pictures always help...

Re: Clipping gap size??
I have heard 40% bore width, 100% bore depth.
So for 9mm @ .375" (3/8") that means 3/8" deep and .15" wide.
But I'm not very experienced with this. I'm just passing what others have posted.
Hopefully, a machinist or frequent poster can critique my suggestion.

Re: The Postman delivers.
Would venting the blast chamber into the coax and rough-threading the inside of the coax tube a la OSS to create major surface area (heatsink) and a tortuous winding path for the gas to travel, and then reverse direction once the boreline clears and the cones are purging their volume?

McCarthy, the Army Secretary did for all the states. Yes, Pelosi and Schumer launched a coup and colluded with the Military to strip the sitting President of his ability to give military orders. TX Gov didn't call up our troops. Maybe the SecArmy can activate NatGuard troops in all 50 States. IDK. ...

Re: end cap hole diameters.
The baffles in these are one-piece; no idea how they were made, but they are already "bored." The only holes I need to drill are through the end caps. So, 6/100 inch over bullet diameter? That sounds like a lot, but, OK. Thanx! It sounds like you have a monocore. If so, they are already M...

Does qualified immunity apply to the 4th branch of the government? Not during the commission of the Crime. Only after it has ALREADY taken place, and even then the immunity is of very limited scope. But even asking someone to commit the crime of taking Private Documents waives their Qualified Immun...

Yes, jigs help. The main issue is how trued the solvent traps are. Then insure that you have PLENTY of clearance.
Traps usually aren't very precisely maintained. Try using the Search function to read how others have answered this question.

Rifle mnfrs rarely advise any specific Suppressor or Brand. Just do your homework and insure that it can handle a .308 on a 12.5" barrel. There are several that can handle the pressure. They do it in different ways. You might try reading through this Thread and maybe go with one of them. http:/...

I'd definitely recommend it to those upset by Mozilla deciding tha...

The thing that I hate about this, is that currently this Corp is the oldest Civil Rights organization in the USA.
If they dissolve it and reform in TX, they can no longer make this claim. But I'm glad to have them here.
