Re: EVO 9 is getting jailbroken
Matt, Those pics are from a while ago... YES I have been shooting it. but using my Mystic for the BLK and Contender. I went out with Dave (TreyPhish) last Sunday.. We shot his MP5 clone. Used the Triad and hosed a few rounds... Word of CAUTION! Make sure when doing your "Drive By" you do n...

Re: Slide Fire Solutions FULL Auto
How many times do we have to be reminded of the ATF approval letters being issued, then the ATF un-approves the device. Remember the Akins accelerators? Remember the XMG from BRP guns? This Slide fire is no different... Remember the definition of a machine gun... any part designed and intended sole...

Re: Long Wait and Question's
So just to confirrm that is a gen 3 in the pic? If so my prodigy i just got in nov is a gen 2. Dang it. Yes the pic is a Gen-III. It is my understanding AAC is not selling Gen-III ... maybe someday? But .... for now I believe Gen-II is what you get Gen-III is only for the people who have a stabilit...

Re: Long Wait and Question's
I believe They only ship Gen III to people who ASK for them AFTER they report stability problems. I am fairly sure they ship Gen-II ... Then if you have problems you can ship it back and they will replace the core with the, in my opinion MUCH better Gen-III WHY???? 1) .. Gen-II is .5 dB quieter or m...

Re: I need some help in choosing a can
If the Essence and Mystic had clam shells I would be in heaven. My only beef with the rest of the world (non Sparrow) is the BS you have to deal with cleaning the tube and taking the can apart.. risking getting it stuck etc. My ONLY complaints with the SS Sparrow are the FRP (which my nose spray bot...

What does that have to do with anything? My point was that they are a big company with big marketing dollars and all they have to get info out on is a couple new cans.
How can you improve on perfection? LOL

Re: precision shooting...which 308 can and mount type
KIS <~~~ Keep it simple Thread on is the best IMHO sure a QD may work but the level a QD is trying to get to is that of a THREAD ON CAN. So why not just KIS and get a thread on if that is the target performance all QD mounts strive for? There advantages for a QD mount some beyond speed of attachment...

Re: 7.62 can on a 5.56
Negative crap about both.. Can't please all the people all the time. Check the posts about off center borelines in silencers. Seems one company feels it's fine to have the bore 1/16" of an inch off center. (silencer is crooked but rifle and silencer bore is INLINE .. Then the BS about mounts an...

Re: Buying two .22 cans
I have 3 .22 cans.. then add the Mystic for 4. #1 is the SS Sparrow for full auto fun.. hands down. Even better than the Mystic or Essence. The clam shell is a requirement for full auto. The other problem is how do you clean the INSIDE of a tube? The only silencer that does NOT have this problem is ...

A pistol has higher MP than the rifle. Some baffle designs are better at high pressure than low.

My 9mm TiRant appears to be sealed and I was told by Mike it was absolutely a take apart. It has disassembly instructions in it.
I will soak it in Kroil. I'm in line for a tool from Matt at SR by the time he gets them ready the Kroil may have helped??

The M203 grenade launcher might be a little rough to use.. RE flash hider prongs Why not have it internal for more volume or do they NEED to be in the open air? (heat sink) Check the ever popular "chaos porcupine" for the Saga 12.. That's what we need on out silencers. I had no clue the Si...

Re: To the asshats putting spikes on your suppressors...
You have to understand the marketing.. The people spending the $ including the .mil grew up with Video games and the paint ball/air soft Tacticool BS. That shuff is ingrained in them. So looking mean and gnarly is a selling point. If you want a 5 oz heaver can that can have interchangeable crap on t...

Re: To the asshats putting spikes on your suppressors...
To me that makes no sense at all. The flash hider 3 prongs prevent the "teeth" from gripping the door.. If used for a muzzle strike it looks like it will dish in the endcap... the edges are the structural strong supportive place for the "teeth". Granted then the rear of the suppr...

Re: Ti-Rant & Hollow Points
Most hollow points have jacket material (close base) on the base of the bullet with the open end forward. Most ball has a lead open base.. The HP will have LESS fouling. The lead vapor will condense in your baffles. Nothing like all lead cast bullets, but still the HP is a better choice.

Re: Gemtech Silencer Subsonic Review
Thanks John... Validates what I have said all along. What is very interesting is the 1070 fps claimed FPS is exactly what the CZ got. but in the shorter barrels the Gemtech ammo had higher velocity. I get the CCI std ammo for less than your price when getting a case at a time making it even better. ...

"Feature set" My vote.. No spikes/breacher/stand off/wipe cutter/flashider/bayonet lug/wire cutter/sling swivel/bi-pod/ storage compartment. Pleeeeeeeese Cons: ads weight, parts to loose or damage, promotes improper usage of said silencer, adds to OAL, extra unnecessary expense, adds to co...

Re: AAC Element vs Silencerco Sparrow
I have 3 .22 silencers. They are all 40 dB reduction silencers. Some things that make the 3 I have unique. My Prodigy is LIGHT. (an Element is about the same, but the Element has little to no FRP) Some pistols need a very light silencer to reduce the pinch of the slide to frame friction and a heavie...

I am a little worried... But know it's something that can be fixed. I have been using mine for some light 44 loads. 240 gr bullets over 5.2 gr to 5.5 gr of American Select. Or some 200 gr bullets over a similar charge. Since my rebuild I have noticed this: http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd334/Jo...

I need to check to see if i can do some testing in vt.. can't at my shop or house.... maybe at the range.. i'll check I do have a bunch of BP fuse Tripple seven.. no creamer but can get some at the VA cafet...
