I use a Trident9 on a Glock 23 with a LWD 40-9 conversion barrel and it works 100% with good ammo. I've found the chamber is a little tight on the LWD barrel and some of my less perfect handloads will get stuck in there while they cycle OK through other guns.

I use a Glock 19 with mine, works great! As with just about any 9mm suppressor you'll need taller sights on the 19. You can probably get a G19 and a lone wolf barrel for it for $600. Change back to the factory barrel and it makes a good carry weapon.

Needs length and weight? Those are good things. light and small, looks great on your HK. If it works, you have a good product. Too bad for the re-loads, but then you can use them to draw and fire. I may be the only one that seeks out larger heavier cans. I thought it would be neat to have a Raptor ...

Complaints: 1. It's kind of a purple color. Purple? Yes, purple. I thought it would be black but it's always been a little blueish purple. You can't really see the color in the picture but you can in good light. Is it aluminum? A lot of the black hard anodized aluminum I've seen has actually had a ...

I don't think I have the best story but the offer is out there and I really want a new suppressor. I bought the Blackside about a year and a half ago becuase my dealer carries the Gemtech line and I already had an Outback and heard the Vortex-9 and really liked them both. The price was attractive to...

Can a Steyr Scout or Elite be suppressed?

I was looking at a Steyr Scout today in 308 and was wondering if anyone has had any luck suppressing these rifles. The barrel looks pretty thin and I read somewhere on here that it may be too thin to cut threads but nobody could say for sure. I didn't handle the Elite but it looks like it has a thic...

I run a Blackside with the USP Tactical... works for me with some exceptions which Gemtech mentioned in their email to JohnnyC. 1) I got some Magtech ammo at the range and it ran about 50%. 2) Mine had trouble the first couple hundred rounds when the gun was new. I always put way too much ClearGlide...

The flash hider for the HALO also needs to be mounted with a peel washer to ensure proper alignment. These are both great cans... if your dealer already has one go with that one. There's not enough of a difference between them to wait.

Yeah nobody told me either. Oh well, it's not like the old Trident is a bad suppressor - still kicks ass just not as much ass as the new one.

Unfortunately not... I called Henry a little while ago and asked him if I could upgrade because I just picked mine up 3 weeks ago. He said the tube is different on the new one to accomodate the new baffles.

I went with the HALO for 2 reasons... I wanted the factory A2 flash hider when the suppressor wasn't attached and it was in stock at my local dealer. They all sound about the same to me so it wasn't worth waiting on a special order. The HALO is made really well and doesn't unscrew or loosen wile fir...

Check the thread pitch again, I think it's 16x1 not 16.5. The suppressor will work on either gun but the booster may not. KAC says they use a lighter booster spring in the model designed for the USP. As far as I can remember the booster can be removed so you can just get 2 boosters. Then you won't h...

I disagree that the booster is not needed. $600,000 in R&D costs to develop the OHG can shows otherwise. Yes it may work with a clean pistol, or if you use certain ammo. Or if you shoot level, or when it is not too cold out. But it would never win a military trial. The OHG can is also all stain...

I have a Blackside and it is a very good suppressor... minimal problems on a USP-Tactical. While I wouldn't let my life depend on it I certainly don't regret buying it. I would say that the Blackside doesn't need a booster for my type of use - I shoot it at the range and at my ranch... not in offens...

Here's a link off of the one PAR posted that contains a lot of fixes for P22 problems. http://pho3nixserver.no-ip.org/p22/p22fixes.html If you've got a dremel, file, and a lot of patience you may be able to fix some of the problems. I have a dremel and a file but don't have $300 worth of patience......

Glad to hear mine is not the only one that sucks. Most of the time I use the Federal ammo that comes in a brick but I got a brick of Winchester last time and it was awful. I guess $300 for that much use isn't that bad. Probably time to move it to the back of the safe and get a new one. I expected it...

Freakin P22

Maybe I shouldn't expect too much out of my P22 but it's to the point now that it just won't work anymore. Almost every shot there is a problem with it... one or more of the following: - the extractor won't grab the case so it doesn't eject - the firing pin doesn't hit hard enough so it just leaves ...

Berry's OK to shoot through a suppressor?

I'm new to reloading... haven't even done my first bullet yet but the equipment is arriving tomorrow so it's time to get the bullets! I was looking at these Berry's plated bullets... is it OK to shoot these through a suppressor? I'd be loading and shooting 9mm and 45 acp. Any good or bad experience ...
