Re: B&T Sig 238 barrels
Who imports B&T? Last I heard was KRISS was doing a domestic version of the IMPULS and importing the Sphinx pistols with threaded barrels to be used with the B&T cans. I know DS Arms sells some of their stuff. You'd think Sig would sell threaded barrels for the 238 to take the business thems...

B&T Sig 238 barrels
Does anyone know when or if B&T are going to release their threaded barrels for the Sig P238 and Glock 42? I emailed them and never got a response. They're supposed to work with a new Impuls can to go with the barrels, but I figure the proprietary threads can be adapted to 13.5x1 or 1/2x28.

Re: Squeaky, high-pitched-sounding silencers
I've gotten something similar to the sound when I shot a .22 can really wet. It was on the first one or two shots, when it expelled a bunch of mist. I was shooting supersonic ammo through it. It made a sound like, "pffffffffffffffffewp". Though, I don't know if the "ewp" was the ...

Re: What are the odds?
I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for not having their paperwork. The only time I've every been hassled is at a range. With a serialized can, it's not like they couldn't just run the serial number and then run your ID. For what it's worth, the only time I was hassled at the range, it wen...

Re: Silencer Purchasing Process (concerns)
I absolutely HATE dealers that treat NFA items like they are imbued with some sort of magic. The process for obtaining them is straightforward. Most likely, your dealer has a distributor that he orders from and the distributor had the cans on backorder. That's what took so long with the Form 3. Your...

Re: Why the show Walking Dead sucks.
It takes place in the South. Zombies are killed by bullets to the head.
Right there is why the series doesn't work. I think a zombie outbreak would last all of a couple hours in the South before it was put down.

Re: Greetings from PA - Walther P22 Barrel Extension Question
I'm 100% positive there are a bad batch of factory adapter P22s. They are from late 2012 to mid 2013ish. They have a factory adapter and a fiber-optic front sight. The threads are all wonky. We received a number in when I worked at a class 3 dealer. We shipped them back to Walther.

Re: Greetings from PA - Walther P22 Barrel Extension Question
Can confirm. There were factory adapters shipped with P22s that were threaded something odd and not concentric. The suppressor fit at like a 10 degree angle from the bore.

Re: Full auto trigger packs on MP5 clone
Would that be legal? I've read like 40 different pieces that says it's illegal to manufacture a fully auto firearm, but I found a couple of places that seemed to make it sound like this was OK because it's a conversion, not a manufacture?... No, it's not legal. If you want full-auto, you need to fo...

Re: .223 vs .300blk AR pistol build
I asked this question in the aac forum but it's not really getting any answers... So, if I go the 300 blk rt with an 8.5-10" bbl, can I use my Eco-9 can on it (subs only)? That might also be a huge deciding factor... I'd just need a fixed barrel spacer, a 1/2x28 piston, and a 5/8x24 to 1/2x28 a...

Eco-9 300 blk subsonic?
Can an Eco-9/Evo-9 handle 300 blk subsonic rounds? I'm thinking 8-10.5" bbl subsonic only. Does grain weight matter or just that it's subsonic?

I have always thought the same thing. Another reason, I think is some people just don't care. Have you ever posted a question to a forum like, "where can I get a threaded barrel for [x handgun]?" and you get a bunch of replies like, "why would you want that?" or "what do you...

Re: .223 vs .300blk AR pistol build
I'll add that BLK is coming down in price and I think you'll see it come down further with more availablity. And that's where I'm thinking that I'll be kicking myself in the shins when Tula starts making 300Blk Steel Case. The amount that you shoot (not criticizing) leads me to think you wouldn't b...

.223 vs .300blk AR pistol build
I'm building an AR pistol (probably going to end up as an SBR at some point). I've got everything but the barrel. It's going to be 10.5" bbl. now I'm stuck... Do I build it as .223 or .300blk. I don't currently have a .223 gun, so I don't have a stock of ammo for that caliber. I also don't shoo...

Re: Off target with Glock 19 suppressed. Why?
You can only index with a Nielson Device (spring booster) on a fixed mount, you have to adjust the sights. All indexing really does is move the spring so that your shots go back to where they should. If your shots are consistently "off" in the same place- ie you have good groups but your P...

Re: Off target with Glock 19 suppressed. Why?
With the can attached to the pistol, pull can away from gun, rotate the can. It should re-index. Shoot gun. If bullets are closer to POA, continue adjusting in that direction, if farther, adjust in other direction.I'm not aware of any way to adjust the piston

Re: Off target with Glock 19 suppressed. Why?
I know AAC allows you to adjust pistons on their cans to compensate for this. Can you pull "out and twist" when your can is attached? This can adjust for POI if your piston is similar to the AAC ones.

There's a reason you don't see much talk of "econo-cans" on Silencer Talk... they're junk. You can get decent .22 cans for under $300. Why would you buy an econo-can? The whole econo can market exists for people who want to break the law and make illegal .22 cans. I'd even go as far as avo...

Re: "Modular" silencers such as Salvo not approved by ATF
The reasoning behind the law is that you can make an existing can shorter, but you cannot add length to a can without "making" a new can. The idea is you cannot make a more effective silencer off of an existing one (the tube being the silencer). You basically buy the Salvo 12 at its larges...
