Re: Ruger 22/45 Threaded
They've been listed on Davidsons for a while now. God only knows when they're actually going to be available, though. It could be months. I'm about to just order a Pac Lite soon. I've still got months before my suppressor will be here, though.

Do you ever get regular MkIII, non-22/45 lowers in?

Re: Buying a MkIII SS with the intent of selling the upper..
In theory. They just kind of trickle onto the market though, don't they? That might leave me looking for quite some time. Mind you I don't want a 22/45 lower, either. I want a stainless MkIII lower.

Buying a MkIII SS with the intent of selling the upper...
For those of you who have done this, which one should I get? The question being, which kind / length of upper is the easiest to sell, in your opinion? I'm just curious if it's worth spending more to get a bull barrel one, or if I should just buy the cheapest tapered one I can find. I'm just wonderin...

Re: SHOT Show Coverage Thread
Looks like I made a good decision to put in an order with Major for a Stainless Sparrow instead of waiting to see if SHOT was going to offer anything magical in the rimfire world.

Great, but I wish they were doing it with regular MkIIIs instead of 22/45's.

Re: SUREFIRE'S NEW MINI-MONSTER!!!!
If something like those spikes were all that needed, wouldn't that kind of thing already be on the muzzles of many military guns? Or are they?

Re: Looking to order a .22 can this weekend.
Yikes. Yeah, I can sympathize. I work in civil engineering and land surveying. Sometimes we quote what we think is an easy job at, say, $500, and it ends up turning into a nightmare. The field people end up with too much time at the job site, the drafting gets complicated, etcetera. Some jobs are bi...

Re: Looking to order a .22 can this weekend.
I'm curious, too. I can't imagine most dealers are charging only $50 to $75 for something that takes hours of work. If every transfer took 3+ hours of paperwork, I'd understand them being $200.
It would be interesting to know the steps involved.

Re: Looking to order a .22 can this weekend.
The closest class 3 dealer to me (A&G Firearms in Ocala) wants $175 to do a dealer to dealer transfer, and $125 even if you buy from them! WOW!! That transfer better come with a handjob... Indeed. It must be seen to be believed. http://www.agfirearms.com/ Click on "how to order.&qu...

Looks like I'll just have to drive to Tampa or Orlando to find a better company.

Re: Looking to order a .22 can this weekend.
Yeah, I understand the TL is superior for .22LR only. It's just a what-if for me. I think if I had a Spectre, I'd be tempted to buy a Five Seven just for the reason of the suppressor.

Re: Looking to order a .22 can this weekend.
I have the swr and it's nice. But if looking today, it would be the stainless sparrow, maybe the element, but it's just so ugly. However, do yourself a favor and don't order s--t for two more weeks. It's SHOT show and there may be new 22 cans yet to be released. Yeah, I was kinda looking to see if ...

Looking to order a .22 can this weekend.
Hello everyone, I'm looking to buy my first suppressor. I've done research, and a lot of reading here lately. The top brands get mentioned time and time again, and I'm sure I can't go "wrong" with any of them. I'm looking to use a Ruger MkIII as a base, to start off with. I once owned a PS...
