Re: Got it
My dealer had it for four days without letting me know until I emailed. Not cool! :x Now that I'm approaching approval time for my suppressor, this is exactly what I'm worried about. I'm calling once a week now to check on approval so I know to call my dealer a week later or so. The people at my de...

Why the spam? http://i.imgur.com/N94nl.gif Company has a good reputation, though. You've posted this spiel on numerous forums. What does the general forum of Silencer Talk have to do with tactical training? That's pretty much the definition of spam: Unsolicited advertising in the wrong place. Don't...

My SS Sparrow has been pending for 167 days (September 29th.) Purchased January 29th of 2011.
Where I was nice about it before, I no longer wish to say good things about the errors made by the company I bought it from, the dealer I'm using, or the ATF.

Here's a picture of me leaving the local range in my protective mask. I think you'll agree that it is both stylish and effective.

I had to file down a bad spot on the threads on my new CZ-452 a few weeks ago. Stock thread protector fit, but nothing else would go beyond a couple of threads. A minute or two of filing down a spot fixed it.

I was still surprised that was the problem.

Well, for what it's worth, the guy does state he knows the decibels are way off, but he still thinks it's accurate comparatively, which obviously wouldn't be true either.

I almost think it's a case of misplaced paperwork. Some newer forms just accidentally get shuffled to the top of the stack, and they just go with them.

Assholes, losers, and deadbeats get old, too. I know, I'm related to some. People who have worked the system and barely ever held a job, and are now well over retirement age.
I'm not giving them respect just because they're over a certain age.

Re: Why are suppressors so expensive?
consumers demand quality. Agreed and disagreed. Were suppressors deregulated, the lion's share of sales would go to companies who make discount cans. Most consumers demand low prices and reasonable durability, and if they can get it, they'll buy it. If people could buy $100 .22LR suppressors that w...

Re: Why are suppressors so expensive?
Were suppressors unfettered by the NFA, and more people bought them, they'd be cheaper for a number of reasons, like they are in countries with no restrictions. Many European suppressors probably aren't as mature in design as American ones, but for things like rimfire, I'm going to assume they prob...
