Fiocci makes ammo. Star Line makes brass, but they are out till Decemberish.

Re: The Old Ammo Question

I've been shooting these side by side w/ the CCI standard vel and cant tell a difference other then the smell. Never had any problems with em in my buckmark/element. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=386774 I love that stuff, much more reliable than the Remington subsonic ammo.

Re: 7.62x25 project w/ video: material for a new suppressor.

Info on the rifle please? How did you cut the throat to handle the long projectiles? Just a throat reamer? Or did you get a custom reamer made? Do these feed reliably from a 30 round 5.56 mag when full? How many rounds are you getting in there? I've wanted to build almost exactly what you have built...

First off, it is per capita... as opposed to per citizen or even per taxpayer. Something tells me for purposes of calculation of this little diddy it is divided by ALL occupants, including illegal immigrants. Is there something else you were thinking? Wouldn't this drive home the point that lefty s...

How in the Hell will they regulate and tax it when everyone simply starts growing their own. No one will buy the latest best weed from the government store when they can simply grow their own. Not like you have to have a still on the back 40 or anything. I brew my own beer, but I still buy the .gov...

Here is a better closeup of the blast baffle 'erosion'. I have fired a 5.56mm can made of aluminum and after 60 rounds it doesn't even look that bad! http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/3134/blastbafflecloseup.jpg Because of this discovery I am thinking of opening a few other cans I got from that SOT ...

Wow, kinda sad really. They made some interesting products. I hope someone buys up the designs and manufacturing facilities to save the products. Keep an eye out for Sinistral Shooting Technologies or something to that effect. Russ Phagan is going to be making them from what I hear. This was suppos...

Re: Nomex glove?

I use my old .50 cal gunner's chicken mitt glove, probably loaded with asbestos considering how well it works.

Though a real chicken mitt(complete with a rooster on it) from the kitchen aisle would probably be more stylish.

Re: My first can...

The problem lies in the inability of those four set screws to grip the sides of the barrel sufficiently to withstand the pressure inside of the can. Every shot is trying to blow that can off the front of your rifle, and those set screws shifted just enough to let a bullet hit a baffle. It doesn't ta...

Why can't the mfgr. use the same serial # if the defected part(suppressor) will be destroyed by themselves? Record of the previous can/parts most likely. Accountability for everything seems to be key They used to be able to do exactly that until just a couple years ago. Search "gemtax" an...

Re: Regarding the Trijicon verse thing

Yep, all the Trijicon verses have something to do with light. Light sources are sort of Trijicon's thing. Even to a non religious type like myself, it's a nice touch. Psalm 118 10-12 reads as follows: 10 All the nations surrounded me, but in the name of the LORD I cut them off. 11 They surrounded me...
