Check out Investment Casting and let me know what you think. All machined from a bar, sorry. here's a prodigy core fresh off the lathe, heading to be finished- cnc internal: http://www.advanced-armament.com/st/prod.jpg Very nice, With the sound reduction issues in the past and now this tumbling iss...

Re: Prodigy POI shift and bullet tumble on Ruger Mark II
So do you thinking this is an investment casting issue. Definitely not- since it's not cast. It's a beautifully machined piece of metal. If I had to guess, I'd say that the baffle stack is aggressive enough that it's right on the edge of destabilizing the bullet out of pistol barrels where the gass...

Well, I don't know whats up with Bandit, and I don't really care. If he wants something, then he can have it. Its his money and his $200 stamp, so why not buy what he wants. I hate AAC and how they treat people now. They aren't what they started as by any means. The original guys(Kevin, etc) who ar...

The vent rib might prevent use of this method.
Good point,
I would think the reciprocating saw would mess up the vet rib. Doesn't a type soldering hold on the vent rib to the barrel ?

They never said they had a fix--they're just working on it. Also, it's not a threading issue. That's been established, although any deviation from perfect always has some effect and the Prodigy is probably sensitive to this. well, I assumed because they gave a rough timeline, they had a fix in mind...

The color comes off with solvents, so the fact yours doesn't have any color and you are not the original owner gets us nowhere I guess. The easiest thing to do would be to try #4, the higher power HP type ammo. Not some cheap stuff, I mean Winchester Rangers, Remington Golden Sabers, Speer GoldDots...

Re: Sig p226 slides not locking back after the last round.
The appearance of the spring will be the same with the braided wire. There is usually a little coloring on the spring like green, orange, etc.that will indicate the pounds the spring is rated for. Plus, Wolf's springs are braided too and they make extra power springs. There is no telling what a pre...

Re: Sig p226 slides not locking back after the last round.
Man I have been shooting Sigs for a very long time and I have never had the issue that you are describing. Here are a couple of other things to think about: 1. Is it a factory barrel? If it is not, was the feed ramp machined to the proper angle? 2. Are your 15rd mags working correctly? When people ...

Re: Sig p226 slides not locking back after the last round.
I feel like have tried all the stuff it know how. 1. Change mag spring 2. Use three different kinds of ammo 3. Keep my thumb off the slide release My biggest problem is FTF . The round is almost vertical ( nose up ) when the slide catches it. What do you guys think about sending it to Sig, worth the...
