but you are saying that if my dad were to pass away, there would be a way to transfer any of his NFA items to me? I was under the impression that if they couldn't sign a form 4 there was no way to transfer it, and it would have to be destroyed

Re: Update: Rifle Cam picatinny rail mount - not shot yet
now you need to take off the lcd viewer on the camera, lengthen the wire up a little, and attach the screen to a night vision flip down head harness thingy (whatever it is called) and then you can shoot around corners both directions easily without sticking your head out! :D This says it has RCA ca...

the question is how many ports can you drill, and how close, without compromising the structural integrity of the barrel?

Re: Homemade quick detach?
I like that. Does it feel fairly durable? Any trickiness getting it on? yeah it is really durable! I leave the can on when I lean my rifle in the corner, and it has been dropped a few times but it is really sturdy.. every part with threads has a nice flat surface that butts up when tightened to kee...

Re: Homemade quick detach?
interrupted threads do lose some surface, and I don't know what kind of pressures cans bigger than 22lr are approaching.. you could also do thirds or 1/4's instead of half interrupted threads, then the threaded surface grabbing is more equally spread around. so you don't think that design would work...

Re: My .223 Takedown MonoCore
the one comment I would have on your design is you said that you would like to put an o-ring on the end by the tube cap threads.. I know a .22lr is a lot dirtier than a .223 would be, but with my .22 can I first had an o-ring on the far end and the problem with that is that your o-ring will have to ...

Re: Homemade quick detach?
edit: sorry if this doesn't apply to your mounting system, but it worked great for me :) I don't know what kind of mounting system you have but it is easy enough to make an interrupted thread quick detach if its a single point mount.. just a rough idea, not to scale by any means http://i289.photobuc...

Re: problem with glock shooting with silencer and subs 147gr
from what I have seen, lone wolf barrels have a steeper feed ramp because it is a reinforced chamber right? is it just something to do with that? or could it be that the slide isn't quite coming all the way back, so the barrel isn't tilting far enough down? maybe just a spring adjustment.. please ke...

people should make a list of all those Brady Bunch people then set up a sign on there front lawn that THIS home will not defend them self using arms then see result  that is a very good idea! I bet they would change their views pretty quick after their house gets broken into a few times :twis...

Re: Is 29.4 too large a diameter for baffle for .22 can
.25 is sufficient, given your threads are bore-concentric. I always do 110% of nominal caliber, rounded up to the nearest multiple of 5. I agree, mine was about 7inches and .25 worked fine. Just make sure your threads are bore concentric and it helps if the can is designed to butt up against the gu...

the one I made was very similar to the first one you have pictured, It works great if you have access to the machinery to make it, the dimensions look good also. Someone else already mentioned that the second one has too big of an expansion chamber for a .22, I second that

I guess the good news is if these weren't on loan to S.Korea and due to come into the CMP. If the Koreans own them, all they have to do is wait until the next administration I would think and try again. http://www.theepicenter.com sells the civi versions--they come in a clear bag instead of a tan one, but are otherwise pretty close to the real deal. They've got three brands, but I think the Sopakco are the closest to an issued MRE. $72/case + shipping, with heaters. It appears that those clear one...

case B tastes better than case A, but generally I actually like MREs.. you can basically tell by the name if it will be good, the vegetarian burger I don't much care for. I think they have an inspection date for five years, but I have heard they are good for ~20 or more. I ate some last year that ha...
