it's a qualitative rating not quantitative. Very subjective. I sleep very hot. My wife the exact opposite.
Ground pads have their own ratings.
A mylar space blanket will seal in all body heat, and keep you super warm.

I believe you can only push them out from the muzzle end through the end cap side. There is an insert where the piston rides in that remains in place. This is just from my personal observations looking at my can, but I could be totally wrong?
I'm sure SRI will be by shortly to clarify.

Look at his "fire power" rig.
There are also some uzi shoulder rigs that could be retro fit or custom fabricated for your needs.
I still think it's a dumb idea, and you're just looking for a way to push buttons.
Carry on.

The P22 has a fixed barrel as does the buckmark and ruger. I've used my tirant9 and evo40 on them all. They work just fine, but don't sound great.

Only dial elevation, never wind. I usually hold over mils, and have had a couple 120yrd head shots on squirrels with CCI stands. I need to put a better scope on that'll dial and see what I can really hit at distance after seeing that 300yrd group of yours. Horus Reticle is my next purchase for a sco...

Re: Best way to clean a Ti-Rant?
There is no difference between Mil and Civ cans, as long as they have a NSN#, and I'm sure many that do not. There is no special super secret squirrel military can they we are being denied the use of. Other than when they can't make enough of them to keep up with demand. Then we just have to wait lo...

Re: Will a .45 can work on .22?
22lr through my evo40 on rifle sounds damn good. I don't think it would be a problem with a 45 either, but haven't tried. Any can on a rifle will work, just not pistol very well. The new tirant45 will come apart for cleaning, and you can buy pistons for 9 and 40. Should be tits out on a 44mag sub. H...

My buddy shot a 3/4" group at 300 yrds with his last weekend with 150gr BVAC ammo. Not match grade ammo by any means. He shot a 5 shot group at 100yrds under a dime. So basically one hole group. He's one hell of a rifleman. I'll be shooting it next weekend at distance and let you know my impres...

223 isn't too bad for extraction with gas off, but 308 requires a "butt stroke". Real pain in the arse.
No puns intended.

Could you put a wipe in place of the O-ring? That would probably quiet it down even more with ablative.

Re: Best way to clean a Ti-Rant?
[ For any sealed model, it should outlast your guns if you: 1. Don't shoot unjacketed lead bullets 2. regularly take apart and clean the ASAP booster in the back 3. Only use water to wet the can if you shoot "wet" An occasional soak in Kroil or an aluminum-safe solvent won't hurt things. ...

Chuck Taylor put almost 300,000 confirmed through his G17. http://www.tactical-life.com/online/combat-handguns/glock-17-9mm-torture-test/ And I've heard of a rental Glock with a million rounds through it. Great to hear. That was one of my concerns with the evo40.
AAC said they need to be aligned in a very specific manner. When I look inside with a flashlight, they seem to be facing all different directions? I was hoping you would address this issue.
Thanks.

Re: Best (safest) way to ship a silencer
Shipped 2 cans yesterday FedEx express, which is 3 day. Insured for $2000, and signature required. They had to inspect the package, so I told them it was two silencers, and they asked if there was any ammo in there. I explained that they were simply 2 mufflers. They didn't seem to care one bit. Over...
