Re: Learning CAD!

Put some small chamfers (.010-.015) on edges, and put radii in transitions (where the tip radius of the cutting tool would be) and you will some very professional looking models. If it means anything to you I draw tools, fixtures, and Gauges, almost all day at work. Those little touches set your mod...

Re: Cold Can

It's well documented that a wet can is quieter than a dry can, but is a cold can quieter than a warm can? For example if I were to shoot the same guns, same cans, same ammo, etc, but one can has been in my refrigerator for an hour and the other can is room temperature (say 70F) will there be a sign...

Re: How can I turn an A2 FSB into an adjustable gas block?

I'm going to drill and tap 2 holes 90 degrees apart.

1 to obscure the orifice, and a second hole for brass set screw to lock the orifice screw down. Just like the seekins.

Ideally the gas adjustment would be toward the muzzle so you can adjust with hand guards in place

The ohio firehouse I've been to. I have never heard someone say they were eye-f*ckin so many times in one day. I don't mind really, had a few good laughs that day

Re: Building our first .223 suppressor

Capt. Link, thanks for the info! We should be able to keep tolerances +- .015 at the very least with our machining abilities here or if we decide to get the baffling machined elsewhere it should be similar. I fit as many baffles in there as I was comfortable having while maintaining about a 1/16 in...

Re: Questions about full-auto capable AR suppressor

I have some I600, and its not super fun to cut, cutting x750 sounds rough. Honestly, the inconel is probably best for erosion resistance, as such, I would use it for the front few. I am building a 308 can now, my first 3 baffles will be 600I and the rest will be 304. They cut similarly but the I600 ...

About goddamn time someone used AL in a centerfire can. I wouldn't suggest slapping on your F/A 7.5" 5.56 however
