felt recoil.. i'd say 9mm hands down ! this is just my opinion , so don't go all Einstein on me to prove me wrong . but I have a 12.5" PWS with AAC , and a 5" 9mm with Trident. between being blow back and a heavier bolt the mass of the parts in motion makes it feel like it has more recoil ...

I have a 12.5 inch pws SBR , and it runs just fine with or without my m4/1000 . It does get dirty inside the receiver however. But so far it still runs even dirty. It's worse if you run it wet like a DI. I leave mine fairly dry and just wipe it down once in a while. I sold all my other DI uppers.......
