Re: what else do i need to do after i have got my silencer
You need at least one firearm to mount it on a LOTS and lots of ammo for it. Then comes the bad news you just did the drug addicts equivalent of smoking crack for the first time and your not gonna be able to kick the habit. If your married gets the wifes ok or learn to hide it form her cause your g...

Who does quality barrel threading?
I'm in South Louisiana and looking for somebody that does good barrel threading with a reasonable lead time. Does anybody have any suggestions? I'd like to have my bull barrel Savage 17 HMR done, Ruger 10/22 magnum (has iron sights....is this a problem?) and will need some pistols done in the future...

Re: Chondro....tell me about the Constitution
Thanks for the thoughts and pics on that one. I have two other dedicated 22 cans on order so I guess I really didn't need the Constitution. The Torch would have been a better choice for me now that I've looked at them a bit more. Oh well, the dealer has a couple of Torch's coming in as well so I can...

Chondro....tell me about the Constitution
I told a dealer close by the house that I would buy buy one of the Liberty Constitutions that he has coming in shortly. I did this after seeing it on Liberty's website and not doing any other research. It was a total impulse buy and after thinking about it I realized that I should have looked into i...

Re: CLEO Signoff Removal: NRA-ILA Press Release
Gotta go the trust route down here in south louisiana too! Ordered my first two from a dealer on March 8th...waiting for them to arrive so we can start the rest of the red tape. Had a third one reserved for me for when it arrives at the dealer (hopefully in the next couple of weeks)! Can't wait to s...

Re: Time from Manufacturer to Dealer
I'm in Lafayette as well. The quickest and easiest way is to find a dealer that has the can you are looking for in stock. Derek Howard in Walker LA is a good dude and he usually has some stuff in stock. That's who I have used on my last 3 transfers/purchases. His company is called Big Boy Armament....

Time from Manufacturer to Dealer
I had a dealer order two .22 silencers on March 8, 2012 (paid for them). He hasn't received either of them from the manufacturer yet. Is this wait time normal for a dealer to get a can in? I know this isn't an impatient mans game, but 6 weeks seems kind of long for a dealer to get a can in. This is ...

I need to form a trust in my parish since the sheriff wont sign off on my form. Does anybody know if there is a blanket form that I can download that will establish a trust properly as far as the BATF is concerned?

Re: The wife's two cents.....
My wife tollerates it because its been a life long obsession. Never met the Sheriff and he signs. Everyone should be allowed one a year. Tell her that. Since my Parish sheriff won't sign can I get around him signing if the Chief of Police of my town signs? Or MUST it be the head honcho of the paris...

Re: The wife's two cents.....
My lovely wife doesn't see the need for me to get one, however, she lets me buy what I want when I want even if she doesn't agree. We've always kept our money separate and split the bills down the middle. As long as neither of us get ourselves into debt then neither of us care what the other buys. I...

The wife's two cents.....
Last night my wife saw me looking at silencers and asked "Why do you need a silencer? Isn't the animal already dead before it hears the shot?". My response...."You're asking the wrong question. The question should be why WOULDN'T I want SOME silencers!!!!!" She smiled and said......

We manufacture a silencer that covers all of those and weighs only 3.9 ounces and is user serviceable. You will need a 556 silencer for that caliber. Check out the XCaliber Genesis... virtually NO NASTY first round pop out of a pistol like monocore designs. http://www.thesilencerstore.com/index.php...

Rookie needs info for P22, sig mosquito, 17 and 22 mag
I've just started researching suppressors and obviously want to make sure I buy the right ones. Is there a silencer that can be used on a Walter P22, sig mosquito and also usable on a savage 17 HMR bolt action rifle (assuming I can have that barrel threaded)? I would also like one for my AR in 5.56/...
